That's my future GPU I plan on getting later in the year I was wanting NVIDIA this time around for the upscaling but after what I've seen what FSR4 can do there wasn't a big difference in fidelity anymore from what DLSS can do so yea it seems I'm going AMD for a second time in a row.

Not going to lie that is the one thing I do miss from my last card is DLSS, however FSR 4 does seem promising. I am hoping it gets implemented soon. The native performance on this card is nuts though.

I plan on getting that GPU myself, so this is helpful. Though my CPU is not as beefy as yours (Zen 9 5900x.) I should manage 2k at 60 FPS just fine

There’s no competition. High end is only Nvidia. Also 5070ti and 4080 destroy 9070 XT.

9070XT has 5070Ti performance $150 cheaper but you lose out on RT performance and now the upscaling fidelity is very very close but DLSS still runs about 15-20FPS better in upscaling and the 9070XT actually has 16GB-VRAM.

AMD launched a damn fine GPU.

There's a reason why basically every tech reviewer is praising the 9070XT right now.

One of the greediest wealthiest corporations on the planet doesn't need you playing defense for them on the internet dude. Nvidia stopped caring about consumers when their ai market became way more than their consumer gpu market. The 5070 is dogwater. The 5070ti is a decent card but there isn't one available at msrp and most of them are around the msrp of the 5080. The 9070 and 9070xt are the only midrange cards actually still in the midrange price bracket. They are without a doubt the best performance per dollar card currently on the market and it isn't even close. Nvidia needs some competition otherwise the 6090 is going to be msrp 5k the 6080 is going to be 3k and the 6070ti is going to be at 2k They know morons will buy them anyways especially if there isn't a decent alternative.

Been using Ray Tracing since Control I think and every time there is the option to turn it ON it’s ON in all my games. Not my fault you play on trash Radeon wchich are incapable of doing Ray tracing high/ path tracing. You should try it it’s amazing especially in Cyberpunk 2077 or Wukong for example.

Also they are doing a bait and switch and they will increase MSRP very soon. One more reason to buy a 5070ti instead.

9070/xt has better supplies and it does not support rocm out of the box, i.e. it is crippled for compute and ai related workloads

miners and ai bros will not want it but scalpers will still get em. but it really doesnt matter if u cant get an nvidia card at stupid prices. in my country a 5080 is 3k or about 2.2k usd
