Anyone else disappointed in the armor variety

For me it's disrespectful that even armors like odogaron and anjanath that already had differing Alpha and Betas had them not added. We got like half the amount of armors when compared to world. On a positive note I do like some female pieces of armor, like the arkveld set having a open style helmet. Still it disappoints me that they got lazy on the armor. What do you guys think?

I just built three armors : oda ,arcveld and gore. Hope was ok.

They did not? the designs for the armour are MUCH BETTER than Base World's.... Iceborne did a lot to make more interesting fun looking armour sets where so many of Worlds were just. Blah or samey.

Missing beta sets is likely because they will be added later with event quests, more tempered monsters n the like. Don't forget that we will be getting lots of free updates to base game.

This game was in development for 5 years yet they were unable to meaningful Beta sets on lunch is embarrassing. Like literally just change up the helmet a bit, and or corresponding gear piece. Add to the fact people are only wearing like 5 sets.

I think the armors and weapons are more creative this time around. Worlds armor and weapons were a massive downgrade over MHGU and every other game for that matter which had a distinct blademaster and gunner set. I really wish they would add the designs of the old gunner sets back in.

I would kill for the Gunner gore to be added, Ya the weapons are better, but I wish every monster had a tree in every weapon.

Me too and hopefully eventually but I don't see them adding ones for returning monsters that didn't have them before. Just gotta wait and see what they end up doing

I would be so happy for them to make old gunner sets as Betas because there are so many fire sets.

the designs we got are top tier and some of my favorite in the franchise, i'm not particularly missing the "slight variations that look vaguely worse on average" sets tbh.

i'm very happy with the armor actually. almost everything looks distinctly different from each other.

also they're going to add new monsters to the game over these next months and years. like ... there's going to be new armors eventually

Eh, its a different Variety from Worlds but as long as I can get myself a Rathalos Armor
