I know they classify them as "Large Monsters" but let's be real here, we know more monsters are coming to the game in the future so we may get things classified as Elder Dragons. Also not to split hairs but Kirin was classified as an Elder Dragon in MH World.
I would say the only thing we are missing so far is a grand scale fight like Zorah Magdaros or Xeno'Jiiva.
Arkveld is a Flying Wyvern
Jin Dahaad is a Leviathan
Rey Dau is a Flying Wyvern
Uth Duna is a Leviathan
Nu Udra is a Cephalopod (new class in 6e)
Zoh Shia is a Construct (new class in 6e)
If there were a natural version of Zoh Shia, it would be categorized as an Elder Dragon because it doesn't fit any other classification.
And yes, Kirin is an Elder Dragon for that very same reason. There is actual lore behind classifications. Elder Dragons are Large Monsters by the way.
Well, Nakarkos was a cephalopod but it was classified as an Elder Dragon back then. Not sure it would now if it ever comes back.
If they ever introduced a class with six limbs of which two are wings, a lot of Elder Dragons should be reclassified into that.
I keep referring to this game as "early access" with my friends.
In terms of content this one is basically devoid of it compared to previous monster hunters.
World has you babysitting the handler
At least the Handler in Wild is actually helpful in the field.
Older game as well got fed content with time.
I never played MH for the story, so i dont mind it, it was okay for me.
Im sry for ur brother but i have no problems in my eyes. My game is good for what im used to, funfact; i never needed 60fps or more, not in MH
Item Wheel is damn annoying, thats true!
One thing you might forget here is that this is the same as always, monster hutner games, i would say since world? Haven played the others before, start with game content and update and get mroe content over the times, this isnt new.
Also you didnt need to buy it, you could have waited for videos or reviews and decide buy it in a sale or later on, jsut saying.
