If you're crashing on launch try this:
There's a bunch of different solutions flying around, some work for some people, others work for others. Just work your way down the list and pray, I suppose. I'll do my best to rank them based on how much of a pain in the ass they are in some way, the most annoying being at the bottom. Note that I'm using a 3090 so anything involving a 4000 series card, or anything involving AMD I'm not gonna have anything I can help you with.

1. Delete Crashreport.exe and the crashreport .dll file.
- This one is weird, but if you're not getting crash reports when the game closes, this can help.

2. Click+Hold on the MHWilds window and drag it, essentially "grab and wiggle it" while it loads.
- I have no idea why but this one works sometimes.

3. Update Drivers
- No ♥♥♥♥, we always do this. But it never hurts to check, I guess.

4. Delete whatever "shader.cache" file you have in the MonsterHunterWilds main folder to force the game to re-load shaders.
- It could have possibly become corrupted and cause the game to glitch out when writing to memory, apparently.

5. Turn off Frame Generation.
- You may have to do this manually by finding the option listed in the config.ini and setting it to False or Disabled, whichever is needed for it. Note that there may be more than one Frame Generation entry so check carefully.

6. Right-click MonsterHunterWilds.exe-> possibly click "show more options"-> properties-> compatibility-> Set "Run this program in Compatibility Mode for:" Windows 8
- It's crazy but this works for some people.

7. Delete your character, it may possibly be corrupted.
- You'll have to google how to find all that on your own but it's not too hard, somewhere in steam and you just need to figure out which folder is MHW's.

8. Search "Core Isolation" on your windows search bar to find the system option for it. Disable Memory Integrity.
- I don't really recommend this one because it feels like it could put your PC at risk, but I'm not really an expert on that. It did work for me, however.

No promises any of this will help and I don't have any in-depth knowledge or anything so I can't really help you or explain this any further, just trying to get an aggregate so people who look it up will have some ideas to run off of.
