Armor parts locked ?

Hi !

So, I'm still doing the story part, and I'm starting to get frustrated over some armors for which only 2 parts are craftable. I did the monster, more than once, and yet, the game just doesn't even show me what material I could be missing to craft them.
So far, I've got this with Rei Day armor, the Black Flame armor and the Ut Duna.

Anyone has an explanation ? In previous MH games, you unlocked the full armor set as soon as you fought the monster once, you just need to farm the monster to get the materials. So what's wrong here ? Am I missing something ?

It means you haven’t found specific material yet. Either didn’t drop from the monster or you haven’t discovered it in the world yet. Also, some armor doesn’t have full sets. Like it might just be a headpiece for example.

Do you mean there are question marks for the needed item? If so, that means its a monster you haven't encountered yet. But, I don't think i've seen that with armor, only weapons.

There are a few like that. It sucks, but just keep going through the story. It'll make sense eventually.

Well, not really. For example, I have unlocked the Ut Duna armor, but only 2 parts. The rest of the armor is full of "????" items... Doesn't really make sens. ^^'

I know what parts you mean, Rey Dau for example. They unlock later in the story. I don't know if its a bug.
