Cheaters? what? Devs?
Dude just joined my game and killed a tempered Ajarakan (6*) within 30s of joining. I didn't even have time to get to the monster before it was captured. Guy had T7 weapons of dual blades and a light bowgun. His damage stat was only 250 or less. had 0 gems in gear ect.

Anyone else experiencing this?

This is why you never play with random in mh games
Havent seen anyone doing this in my playtime

I mean does it even matter?
Is there even like a ladder system in this game ?

People already convinced me in the thread that it's lame. No need to quote me and tell me I am wrong

this was my FIRST experience with it.
top against a tempered foe for me right now, without good enogh equipment making use of its weakness and all, was 2 minutes, so 30 seconds could be the norm.

Also doubt that just becuase one person got to the right moment the right time and did what was needed that its cheating. Cheating would be "that slow? 30 seconds realy?"

id prefer if people actually had to grind the game like everyone else. It's one thing to do it solo. Its another to just answer SoS calls with it.

The wound bugs are still rather rampant.

... i watched them spawn in at base camp as i was still there. They then dropped down directly to the monster and the moment they got there it was captured. The monster had not been in combat at all before hand or anything as i had just posted the quest.

tbh if people want to cheat in mats, sure, go for it, but joining other peoples hunts online and 1 shotting the monster ruins other peoples experience
There IS tho btw a bug currently where you will randomly do a dumb amount of damage, i did in 1 light lance stap before like 1.2k damage, and another friend had an attack on dual blades do like 12k but thats only happaned twice so far in 100+ hours

they also had no set bonuses and no lvl 3 skills at all. A stack of lvl 1 skills and no talasman or gil equipped

This was done with T7 dual blades and T7 light bow gun. I HIGHLY doubt they just "happened to do the right thing"

Yeah fair enough.

cheating in games isn't really for the devs to handle unless its got leaderboards that matter and a specific focus on multiplayer content...like a squad shooter or PVP game...like Dead By Daylight or something. In a game like this, its on you to avoid it by not playing with randoms, for instance i find sharpness to be a pointless mechanic with no real purpose in the game now because we just sharpen on the drake now every time it moves areas, and it never even falls below a threshold...i don't think turning off irrelevant mechanics in my private games should be punished while hunting with friends or solo.
just use the AI hunters or play with friends, otherwise expect trolls.

Theres a difference between no sharpness and 1 shot the monster ins omeone elses quest.
