100% done - Monster Guide - Mildly Wild - EZ mode - The Game
I really enjoy the game mechanically, but systems wise, it falls short.

The sekret undermines any type of genuine exploration, and the maps feels smaller for it. Autopathing everywhere whilst convenient is ruinous to the games premise of hunting monsters.

Monsters are too ez pz with very little hp pools, and low damage, removing much of the risk of fighting them.

Artian weapon system is entirely flawed , undercooked and needs a lot more thought when used along side the regular progression system.

I will continue to play it anbd enjoy it for what it is but honestly it needs more content, harder content and reworked systems for the weapon progression in particular.

This seems to be spot on from what I have played and seen.

I agree with transmog 100%.
But I also wonder why undermine the progression of farming monster make weapon from monster parts by just dropping a bunch of weapon parts to make in most cases the strongest weapons by far.....or even better farming flowers for an hour instead of monsters for 10 hours.

The systems honestly need a complete overhaul at this point.

The progression is way too vertical instead of horizontal.

There should be a rarity 10 version of every monster, and a rarity 10 top tier difficulty version of every monster.

They expect everyone to upgrade incrementally but 99% of us are just rushing to the end with clown gear. You don't need it. Game is too easy.

Then you are left with like 4 things to farm in the endgame and that's it. You only have stuff to do if you play every weapon. Even then it's the same 4 boring things.

I 100%'d the game solo without help from a Discord or a coordinated group, in fact spent a lot of time helping randoms and friends past points they were stuck at.
Also 100%'d World and Rise on PSN. might do it on PC, but the more i see lying like this the more I feel the obligation to not play World. Which is sad.
World Base is Easier than Wild Base. World with Iceborne is the EASIEST MH title ever made. Clutch Claw broke the game. Way more than Wound System does.

MH has been easy since MHFU - PSP for you World Only Players.
So yes Wilds is easy FOR US VETERANS and Anyone who spent at least 60hrs in World. Because its the SAME difficulty level with a new mechanic style thats more fluid and less borked. Welcome to upgraded AI mechanics.

Not true. Even Monster AI has gotten tweaked to be easier in recent gens. Stagger thresholds etc etc are way easier. There's so much easier.

Anyone that thinks the older MH games are just as easy, are in complete and utter denial.

Not true. Even Monster AI has gotten tweaked to be easier in recent gens. Stagger/Topple thresholds etc etc are way easier. Less aggression. There's so many things that make it easier.

Anyone that thinks the older MH games are just as easy, are in complete and utter denial.

2. worlds is not easier at all, the progression is much more rigid and so is the monster aggression, damage and stagger thresholds are much better.
3. Wilds is easy for game journos thats why every review had difficulty as a talking point. Its too ez the end.
4. You are in complete denial and thats okay, but dont pretend your opinion is the popular one or even correct.
5. the thresholds for stagger, knockdown, and knockback on monsters are considerably lower in this game compared to any other in the series. Add that to the lower health pools and lower damage, animation wind ups are even slower, Wilds is FACTUALLY easier than all of its predecessors. (As in the numbers are lower across the board).
6. coping is unhealthy.
Get off your mount if you want to explore, jeez some people complain about anything.

I mean 72 hours for someone who was actively doing things in probably the most efficient manner to 100% the game sounds like good value to me. I'm approaching that many hours total and I'm still like HR 20, good to know I've got a lot more game left to chew on.
