Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds

Game should've had 2 modes
Story Mode (Current state of game)

And Normal Mode.

These monsters die far too fast. And stunned/knocked down far too easily.

The TU monsters and the dlc need to make up for this.

Also wounds need adjusting.

There is normal mode, its called High Rank.
I can only assume capcom are doing this to try make all the baddies feel good about the game as a lot of people struggled with world...

The dlc should add difficulty next year but yeah the games meh right now due to everything just melting

Hopefully some big streamer can get a message across or something because these forums are 50% in denial and it aint helping
When world released only threads on difficulty were people asking for help on nerg... most people were happy with difficulty

Overcoming challenges is a rewarding experience. Doesn't seem like that was in Capcom's plans for Wilds.

Thing is, we have to wait for an entire year or who knows when. And we still won't know if monsters will have significantly less health.

Simply having 2 modes and adjusting the monster's HP and any other minor tweaks would have made everyone happy instead of hurting one side to satisfy the other side and trying to find a somewhat middle ground.

True we need a harder mode even if it's a toggle as is now it's just for too easy...

People weren't overcoming challenges though. They had to rely on an SoS system to beat something they got stuck on and that, that alone feels bad in a "Challenge" aspect. You beat a monster only because someone who came in wearing said monster pulled you through it. The reason wilds feels easier, is because the game has the wound system. The wounds detonate by a simple two button press and regenerate over time+litter you with basic monster parts.

If you pay a little attention, you can already see the direction the game is going to go, as people are reliant on the wound system, but tempered monsters should indicate to you, that wounds will heal fast and faster based on difficulty increases. Tempered monsters for instance heal their wounds in around 10-15 seconds of appearing (The blue ones, not the red ones.) so it comes to expect that master rank monsters in the future will likely be faster/stronger/more movesets and regenerate all wounds or maybe not even produce them quickly, resulting in better hunts overall.

You have to remember that people complained about World's difficulty, arguably one of the easiest monster hunters (At the time.) and were CONSTANTLY criticized for it, being called and still being called to this day "World babies." by quite a few veterans. So, Capcom took a look at the analytics for the game, saw where people got stuck (Which was end of LR and start of HR) and simply made the game more accessible.

Power clashes
Perfect blocks
Perfect dodges
The wound system
The auto navigation system.
The health bugs all over the place.
The pick up from a distance via grapple.
The cold/hot system negated completely by bugs etc.

However, combining all of that? They created one of the most fun MH experiences out there and it paves the way for things to come.

You're bad at the game...

The wound systems is terrible and wounds can be targeted and exploded instantly! They have no time to heal what you on about?

It's easy far to easy like if you had 5 difficulty settings this is the noob setting its that bad...

Have you seen mh pros? They vsn fight without being hit... in this i can fight and never dodge and still kill even tempered monsters!

The scale is way off and there is no defending it. Only bad gamers will defend this... even mediocre players will find this too easy and no challenge and there's no reward when things are too easy

My cat instantly heals me is the best healer in the world I literally have to try to die!

Yup, I've seen the wound system and specifically tested the system to see how fast it dissipated. Also, I've seen pros in world drop a monster in 43 seconds, guess the monsters in world was weaker too? Even the strongest monsters went down in 2 and a half minutes. You guys are acting like this dog and pony show hasn't been done before or something, or that your skills gained in previous MH games, somehow don't relate to a new MH release.

I've buzzsawed my way through tempered monsters in 5-6 minutes, but I've also had block battles using offensive guard and lance pokes for 16+ minutes, just matters how you play.
No tempered monsters can die in 43 seconds in world... not one. So you're bs...

Using hbg op mechanics in world csn kill fast sure but playing standard world is tiers better than this... you can't perma stun lock with any weapon in world.

Again using world to try defend your point shows you're clueless... worlds 10x more difficult than this game... you can't even get a solid build in world before tempered. This game is have my end game so fast it makes everything else obsolete!

So no you're acting like this is normal when it's not... it's beyond easy. It's nowhere near the standard of even the past 2 games never mind the history of mh games.

Thanks again for proving you haven't got a clue.

Mind you this is steam too... if you visit any mh forum 100% of the players will be complaining it's too easy because it's not an opinion it's a fact

Don't flip my words, I said "drop a monster in 43 seconds." But if you want to see an arch tempered nergi dropped in 2 minutes, I can oblige with a video. Show me you dropping the easiest enemy in wilds in 43 seconds, the chatacabra, then you can compare time basis.

Yeah dropped with end game gear... you're so far from anything factual...

I left low rank and I'm slaying tempered monsters... go try fighting an archtempered nerg with low rank gear in world and let me know how you get on...

I think wilds records hunts? I can try link my fast kills because so many are sub 1 or 2 min... it's "wild" how easy wilds is

Not every game has to be Dark Souls or Elden Ring style. A fact that you may have forgotten is that there are solo players who don't want to bother playing with others because everyone wants to rush the game.
