as for aggro , if you'r solo player there is no help for that , palico are just useless in fight , only option would be ussing taunt on him every time it's avtabile , in team on other hand , there is javel for puting more aggro on every attack.
Is it tied to how much dps you deal or is it more random what player it chooses? Just had it again where I got 6 of those red attacks in a row, it won't let me catch a break lmao
That said, just perfect dodge the attacks
Oh yeah also "source" i run an armor set that speciifcally increases the amount of aggro my damage does
that being said, monster hunter is about learning to perform in these situations. Use your iframes, use your leap of faith, use CC.
I play gunner and I have no problems dealing with aggro/dodging and still doing damage. You shouldn't rely on "not having aggro".
Also I don't think it's damage based, else when I play with people, one of us would likely always have aggro, which is not the case. ^^''
