Texture filtering broken
So, using high texture settings with a 5080 and a fast NVME, the game has quite a few textures which look like they're, at best, from a PS3 game (like clothing textures and terrain textures). I have texture filtering set to 16x anisotropic, but I've actually tried lowering it to bilinear, and I could never tell the difference. Can anyone chime in with whether a lot of textures are incredibly worse than other textures in the 'high' setting, and whether the texture filtering makes any difference at all in this game? I have checked and made sure that I don't have a specific filtering setting forced in my drivers or anything...

hi, i'm using bilinear anisotropic on this game, and i use the FSR AMD Native resolution, and it looks way better, in every game i always used "Quality" DLSS or FSR, but on MHWild the look and the performance are terrible in dlss and fsr.

FSR AMD Native resolution will be harder to run, i almost lost 40 fps (i was playing with an average on 140fps), but it looks way better, as a FPS hunter it makes me mad to play at 100 fps

Playing in 1440p in ultra, 4080 + i9 12900k

Have you tried using DLSS Swapper? I think the latest DLSS model actually looks quite good in this game, since the in-game implementation of TAA is quite bad.
I have tried playing at native with no AA to test things, and even turning resolution scaling up to 200% at 1440p, but the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ textures remained
