arkveld has some of the best armor and weapons though. getting the drops sucks ass so grinding arkveld is understandable to a certain point. for example Ive fought it around 7 times and still can't build 4 out of the 6 armor pieces.

It's not even the fastest experience. I believe someone said a Gravios Hunt was, but it was in Japanese so I didn't fully remember correctly.

Valid point, but you don't need the R8 quest, which is the tempered version, for it. I'm asking because this guy was so fixiated on ranks.

Sadly I haven't seen a fixed gem quest for Arkveld so far. But for the other apex predators I saw them a few times. If points are my goal, I would rather take them. One gem every hunt.

Artisan parts isn't something I need more after a few hunts. Tempered Arkveld, atleast with my rng, is kinda meh for decos. While I farm other temp. monsters, I get enough parts anyways.

Dunno, it feels like MH:World at release for me. You hunt the big baddy a few times, then it is back to deco farming and here it is where it doesn't matter as long as they spit out the highest grade. Which in Wilds is every temp. apex predator + Gore + Arkveld.

ah this makes it worthwhile becase reinforcing is expensive
