Why Capcom deceided to go in this direction I dont know. Personaly I hated every time I had to talk with him. But I dont know anyone who plays Monster Hunter for the Story. The Story is the Tutorial before the game really starts. So who cares?
I know capcom mentioned Wilds is going to be more "story focus", but cmon. You are just some hunter in the guild, picking up bounties and killing monsters to get their skin and organs to make armor. Always has been

he reminds me of the that kid in pokemon sword/shield. where hes just so annoying and has to tell you your best friends. i feel like their trying to get younger kids as a target audience. but i feel like a teenager male or female would had been fine. it kinda make sense to bring a teenager but a child. bro probably to scared to even go bathroom in the forest.
