Seems like a different issue if you crash before even getting in the game but a crash is still a crash I guess. Hope you find a fix soon.
even after uninstalling all mods and starting with a fresh installit still crashes with this new update. others are playing fine with and without the same mod so i have no clue whats wrong with the game at this point
I didn't because I thought 32gb of ram is enough, but windows likes to allocate beyond that, even if it's not actively used which was the cause of my crashes.
What they did is they:
- made a fresh install.
- compiled shaders.
- went into options and disabled framegen and dlss.
- Exit the game and delete the shader.cache2 in the game folder.
- Go do disk cleanup and delete the DirectX Shader Cache.
- Boot up the game again and play the game.
Some of my friends that recently made a new rig for this game experienced crashing as well.
After a while, we determined that the cause was an unstable memory overclock (9800x3D with 32GB RAM with XMP on to reach 6400mhz.
After tuning it down back to 6000mhz, the crashing stopped.
