I know it's illegal to try bringing logic into a Steam Discussions thread, but you guys know the reason why the hunter has hunted either alone or with other actual hunters in every previous game, right? Because monsters are dangerous. That's why the whole story is just us trying to stop them from committing genocide on the entire human population. If you don't have a weapon or any other way of defending yourself, you're not supposed to be there. Because they'll kill you.
Alma is walking around calmly destroying immersion because she's incorporeal to monsters during battles. How am I supposed to believe the monster is dangerous if they can't even touch a totally defenseless woman wearing next to no armor and only holding a book?
I repeat, this has never happened before in this series. There is no lore reason. What the heck is wrong with you guys?
how about give people option to put her in camp forever in one spot?
you get into camp, 99% chance she will rp walk somewhere and instead of wasting time to find her you go inside tent to manage investigations/get into quest - she is useless as quest board
she breaks immersion by running around you IN COMBAT, i can't imagine that any dev playtesting this said "yeah looks cool". she also likes to get infront of you while you shoot with bow/gun, so much for realism.
i am baffled by wilds and want item box with quest board nearby back. Stop alma following you after you do story.
For future reference whenever I have a question about something usually the first thing I'll do is a quick Google search, asking random strangers on an unmoderated forum is usually not a good idea as they are full of unreliable sources.
