What is the optimal dps combo for bow?
Since tracer arrow maxes the charge level on the bow, there is no need to maintain max charge by doing a charging sidestep immediately after a power shot. You end up saving a lot of stamina by doing this.

So what is the optimal bow combo now?
I've experimented with just quick shot + power shot over and over again and then finish with thousand dragons before the tracer blows up.
Only dodge when necessary to proc discerning dodge.

Thoughts?

You know optimal dps depends very much on how your gems and skills and arrow type are put into your stamina budget and specific arrow type and attack move buffs. For your cycle of charged shots->power shot+again->thousand dragons put the gems and skills in your weapon and armor to shoot for the optimized dps cycle.
The charged shot before power shot is pretty quick and I guess for the time it takes it's very well worth the time if its charged to max level already.
In reality, especially in multiplayer, you may as well very often pop some wounds to "control" the monster for your party, which may favor special shot buffs
I am not using English to play the game so some specific terms I can't spill out accurately put I hope you understand what I meant.
Wait for Tidus69's video. He is one of the best bow players and speedrunners and his guide video is supposed to come out tomorrow on Youtube.
Depends a lot how much stamina management you have, and Focus is becoming relevant again with Arc Shots to some extent.

Still, slotting in Spread Up on a bow with Pierce Coatings and relying mostly on Power Shots works for me. Pierce Coating + Power Shot with elemental bows is probably going to get nerfed sooner or later.
