Does this game have more tutorials than the older MH games?
Just curious, i know people have said Wilds is more friendly to newcomers, but does that include tutorials and just overall holding your hand more while teaching the game?

You can enable all tutorials if you are a new player or you can disable all tutorials if you want no help. There is also a middle ground option that only lets tutorials for new mechanics pop up (like new fishing mechanics and Seikret controls), but turns off the tutorials for everything else.
I think pinning the entire story campaign into LR while teaching the different mechanics made it a lot more accessible. In a sense, there was something that gave reason to the hunts, something interesting for newcomers to the franchise. The 15~ hours of LR is basically the tutorial itself, with the capture tutorial coming right after in one of the early HR hunts.

With that said, I had a smoother time entering Wilds than World, and it definitely helped hook me deeper into Wilds than I ever got hooked in World. Even though I'm not a newcomer, this whole thing got me hooked better than I did back at World.

You still have to figure out a lot of things on your own though, but the game gives you help getting there. A lot less googling, a lot more hunting.

LR = Low Rank

The ending of the main story is basically the ending of Low Rank too. The High Rank hunts begin afterwards and give better rewards for better challenges. They're a lot of fun once you go the grips on the mechanics.
