Gore Magala NEEDS A NERF
This thing is way too fast for how big it is, It's moveset makes it near impossible to dodge or block everything because the attacks come out way too fast and all of them can insta combo kill you, even with full rarity 7 armor.

I've tried everything people tell me, Bow, Sword and Shield, only dodging the punches etc but this man always gets me down to the last 5 minutes of a hunt on my last faint when I can pretty much solo every other monster without fainting once

Is there some sort of trick to this guy I'm not getting or is he meant to be so horrificly overpowered you're not meant to fight him(at least Solo)

man i killed a 8star tempered gore magala today with a greatsword solo, you need to do stun damage on his horns when he is frenzied, break his head and he defrenzifies and get yourself sushi scales for faster and better healing, use lighning traps and make sure your have the best gear you can have.

It was actually fun to not steamroll a monster for once.
Gore Magala ? more like Shmore Shmagala

take a melee weapon like switch axe and just sit under him spamming circle.

when you see the damage marker indicating a wound, target with L2 and R1 the wound for an auto-combo that will typically stunlock him and then knock him down.

then keep swinging.

rinse and repeat.

call bird if you get knocked down.

the hardest part of the fight is seeing what's going on because it's such a tight space, so you might be able to lure him somewhere more open? not sure if that would work on him because i never tried it.

Oh no, the meta cancer is already seeping into Wilds.

Try learning its patterns, use traps and flash pods etc. Dont forget about various buff drinks you can make such as energy drinks, armor and demon drinks. Go with a weapon you click with.

Dual Blade, stay under him, apply evade and Seikret as necessary to reposition.

As a matter of fact, seems like most big D monsters can't do all that much if you stay under them.
Remember to go in prepared. Drink your Mega Demondrug and Armordrug. Don't bring flash it doesn't work. Bring traps and use them to give yourself time to deal damage to him or bring a Paralysis weapon. Bring Great Sushifish scales it's almost a max potion in healing capacity and you can bring 5. Use the environmental hazards to save time dealing damage to him, Nulberries don't negate the frenzy but it does give you more time to deal damage to him so you can get the buff instead of the debuff. Aim to break his antenna ASAP.

Perhaps give some detail as to what the poor spelling of Get Good actually means.
Threads that both call the game too easy and ask for monsters to be nerfed already? Can't the community agree on this by now?
Also this is isn't like Alatreon or anything. It isn't even G rank, just some high rank monster. Like yeah Gore is harder than earlier monsters but it isn't anything crazy.

Now to be fair...most of the game gives you easy monsters to fight. So newer people to the series are gonna be conditioned by easy fights. So Gore is gonna feel like the difficulty was cranked to 11. xD

Gore was meant to be hard.

Just wait until we (hopefully) get its adult form....
I AM FILLED WITH GREAT FEAR

Here's a tip for if/when we get it's adult version

If you see anything glowing purple on the ground, AVOID THAT SPOT LIKE THE PLAGUE.

gore magala doesnt need to be nerfed lmao, learn positioning, hes really not that hard of a fight, there are spots where you can stay in one place and wale on him while he combos, most of his attacks are wide and sweeping, i use chargeblade and i kept constant damage on him.
avoid his frenzy clouds, when frenzy procs on you, NO amount of armor will keep you from takeing lots of damage

this fight felt similar in difficulty to master rank fights in MH World, if this gave you trouble, master rank in Wilds is gunna be really really tough for you, especially if we end up with nargacuga
bro just use the AI sos and they'll do it for you

Nah, every other monsters need to be brought up to GM level lol.
every monster in the game is easy just hold focus down 100% of the time open wounds and press shift have fun
