Light Bow Gun vs Heavy Bow Gun

So I am doing a Seikret rider bow gun build, I never hop off the Seikret unless necessary. Is there any benefit to the LBG over the HBG?

Light Bowgun is already mobile enough that you don't really need to use the chocobo and the damage penalty from riding it ain't worth.

Heavy bowgun gets a lot more from the increased mobility.

Yeah that's basically what I thought, sad to hear cause they look so much better than the HBG for me, but oh well.
