Story about Arkveld confusing me
They told these warden dont eat, sleep and cannot reproduce. But how was it possible to get a egg? Was the egg Arkveld the real one?

Just ignore it and you'll be better for it.
bad writing is in its self "bad writing" in terms of a response. You are becoming the very thing you hate.. A bad writer.

No, there are specific hunts that the game will say you aren't able to do because of story and hr lock, but you can still hunt those monsters and get their mats.
The doshaguma had an atrophied stomach due to not needing to eat. The old man never says they made them unable to eat, he says they didn't need to. He did say they were made unable to reproduce. No gentials, nothing. They grew a genetically modified monster that was based on Arkveld that was going extinct over 2000 years ago. And the ending is a clear contradiction. You can say A-Sexual reproduction, but they built this thing and didn't leave any way for it to reproduce. They didn't accidentally add a new way for it to reproduce by itself as it would have been near impossible and counter to their goal of making a guardian monster as an energy source.
when did they explicitly say they were unable to reproduce? i only remember the quote where they said they had no need of it due to never dying of natural causes.. and why would them trying to make something 'unable to reproduce' suddenly mean thats 100% true & they succeeded anyway? Thats literally the plot of jurassic park. or are you telling me you think its bad writing that a character says "this can not happen" and then the thing happens? lol

Bioenergy.

There's also a Wyverian walking around who looks like Big Boss, so maybe nanomachines too.

When the old man tells you the history/the secret of the guardians and what Arkveld is. And yes, they did directly rip it off of Jurassic Park, hence why they chose to build a monster that was practically extinct for the guardian. The point of them not reproducing was due to the immortality using the dragon milk to develop them and to keep them non-aggressive along with them not needing to eat anything. They didn't want aggressive immortal monsters that could breed and could survive without any other sustenance than the dragons milk, that is a bad idea. And the answer for the last one is, that is my point. The games story contradicts itself and you are better off not taking it as proper lore- because the writers certainly didn't put any effort into keeping continuity.

so you do think it is bad writing if something a character says isn't 100% true / they could be wrong? well okie dokie then..

EDIT: hey uh, i just rewatched a couple of the cutscenes, namely the zoh shia one... The hunter actually DOES authorise themselves to hunt the monster? so what was the whole complaint supposed to be about again????

Arkveld is post-op trans. They have a vadge now. And in Monster Hunter world it actually functions.
