Steam Declining Refunds?

In the past even with over 2 hours of game time if a game is unplayable steam will issue a refund. Why are they not for Monster Hunter Wilds? I have tried to get a refund because the game is unplayable for me, and they won't do it. I contacted steam support and asked for a supervisor both declined. Why are they being so draconian for monster hunter?

You seem to abuse the system. So no refund for you.

They aren't really being Draconian, the times that they refunded games over 2 hour playtimes were the exception, not the rule, it clearly states it in their refund policy. It does suck for you though, and its unfortunate.

there is no guarantee to get a refund if u are over 2h of gametime, simple as that.
If u got it in the past, be happy about it but they state clearly that u get a refund up until 2h of gametime, if u are over that u CAN get a refund but u can't rely on it.

if you played over 2 hours you will not get a refund, only if the game is a complete scam like "the day before" for example

If you abuse the refund policy for multiple games, they start declining refunds.

If you just dont meet the requirements, its your fault. So no refund for you. The exception about "unplayable" is when the game is really unplayable cuz of bugs, no support, patches or anything. You should know that for the next time if you wants to farm clown awards with your private profile.

You might not be able to get a refund for abusing the system, but if you're patient enough and you can get the cash needed to upgrade or just buy a new PC... well, that patience will be rewarded by being able to enjoy the game to the fullest.

Games not unplayable its just optimized to ♥♥♥♥, unplayable means it wont run.

i can actually back this up, ive always had unsuccessful refund requests on Steam once i go past 2 hrs playtime. There is really no exceptions you can write support tickets and emails nonstop for 6 months and they will decline you no matter what excuses you give.

Tbf it's not really unplayable, just terribly badly optimized so if you hit the requirements you have to play it with very bad textures, native 540p upscaled to 1080p and uneven frame rate. I refunded as soon as I saw it looked bad and still had a bad framerate andframe gen added annoying input lag. No reason to wait for more than 2h.

after 2 hours, it's up to steam unless the game is a world wide scam like the day before
