Please be more like Rise, less like World
I know it has the same art style as world but I really hope this plays more like Rise. I really enjoyed how fast paced Rise is. As someone who has literally played every game and started with MH on ps2 world was my least favorite MH game. Bad weapon and armor design in the series.

Rise moveset sucks compared to world. Lots of moves became useless because they buffed others too much or because of wirebug skills. I'm going to use DBs as an example. Every move in World has a use; sixfold for medium commitment damage and building gauge, fade slash for low commitment, and roundslash to change attack direction.

They're all useless in rise because demon flurry is too powerful. You get good damage, a gap closer and can change direction with that one move. Archdemon mode is completely useless once you get infinite stamina.

There are so many other action games with simple movesets. Some of the "clunkiness" in MH makes it so you can't mash buttons on autopilot.

Yes, World is useless, but at least the basics that worldbabies learned, and you should move on to the next level.

That event was for a party quest, just like Final Fantasy, which you are not fully understanding.

But still doable to solo for good players. GU hub quests didn't have solo scaling either.

Comparing apples to oranges is what worldbabies do. A quest designed for multi-playing is something you are not denying, but you bring that as an example to compare difficulties is exactly what I name call you a worldbaby.

You are still NOT getting it.

My first MH is GU. Why shouldn't I compare them when GU hub quests are also meant for multiplayer (no solo scaling)?

Hunting a Risen elder monster in special investigation is easier in terms of lower HP, which is around only 120000-130000 in a solo 50mins quest, and movesets are the same since mid 200ish anomaly.

But, but, lets take a lagombi for instance, lagombi throws a snowball, which is the half size of my monitor and naturally one-hit-faint for a gunner, or when he is sledding around, that is also one-hit-faint for a gunner, as he causes 30% more damage for every movesets. And yes, a lagombi has more HP than Risen Shagaru.

Endgame Sunbreak is the revival of G-class guild quests, which must satisfy worldbabies. But they do not even try, because a fatalis slayer should not go down to a lagombi, so that they seem like writing a poem instead.

Wanted to add HP numbers w/ sources:

Anomaly 6★ Anomaly Research: Risen Shagaru Magala https://mhrise.kiranico.com/data/monsters/479959906
HP is 76,500, 78,750, or 81,000 (I'm assuming this scales with number of players)

Hub G1 // The Killer Rabbit of Arctic Ridge: Lagombi https://mhgu.kiranico.com/monster/68a46
HP is 7,704 ~ 8,135
So, a GU Lagombi is ~1/10th the HP of a Risen Shagaru

Special Permit // Snowbaron EX: Hunt: Snowbaron Lagombi https://mhgu.kiranico.com/monster/6db86
HP is 24,750
Making Snowbaron Lagombi ~1/4th the HP of a Risen Shagaru

And for fun:
Hub DLC // A Terrible Light: Shagaru Magala:
https://mhgu.kiranico.com/monster/68946
HP is 20,900 ~ 21,450
So, it's less than a Snowbaron Lagombi in the same game, but still ~1/4th the HP of a Risen Shagaru.

HP values in 4th Gen are pretty low by comparison to 5th Gen.

Feel free to pull the numbers yourself, there are only two quests with Risen Shagaru numbers and the lowest HP value possible is 67,500 which is still ~3x higher than the highest Lagombi/Snowbaron HP

I'm not denying that GU feels harder, because it really, really is and anyone who's fought Redhelm Arzuros can tell you that. But HP isn't why it's harder.
