Now with a 4070 Ti with DLSS on quality I had around 70 to 80 FPS with Frame Gen then certainly over 100, even playing in Ultrawide, so that draws even more power.
Unfortunately, the 3070 was a bit of a customer scam with the 8 GB VRam, which is no longer enough today. The 12 GB of my 4070ti are fully utilized in almost all titles.
Modern engines need more than 12 GB or better 16 GB to run really well in terms of V Ram.
The problem here is you need to consider the average pc user in the market, most people don't even have a 3000 series nvidia card, its kinda like crysis back in the day, only like the top 1% of pc owners could even run the game at a playable fps due to how demanding it was on hardware. Like "can it run crysis" was a meme for years in pc gaming as it was the best looking game for its time if anything it was prob over a generation ahead graphically. Yeah you can say "well buy a better pc" but thats just not feasable for most people. In general you want your game to be able to run well on even mid end systems to help with sales. But this game runs so poorly that with reccomended specs you prob get 10 fps at 1080p native. Going to be alot of unhappy pc customers when this releases as the reccomended specs are an outright lie, and they need to be MUCH MUCH higher than what is listed. Buddy of mine has a pc he just got with a 4070 super, and he can't really hit 60 fps native at 1440p, which is insane considering the game barely looks better than the last monster hunter game.
but forza horizon 4 (2018) much bigger and more detailed open gaming world runs smooth as silk on maxed settings fhd on sandy bridge/ivy bridge/haswell 4c8t cpus (i7 and sibling xeon e3) with gtx 1070/1660 class gpus
one can find videos of this
same goes without maxing out settings so for fh5
and even for mh world
comparing mh wilds beta/benchmark with fh5 in terms of visuals on current hardware maxing oout settings
or with something like black myth wukong or warhammer 40k spaeec marine 2
well wilds does noit look good sadly :-(
funfact
the mh wilds benchmark runs on such hardware even if it is below official min spec
but it requires upscaling and framegen in minimum settings
The game does not at all look better than any of the mentioned games on max settings. I can run war thunder on movie mode with beautiful sun rays and water reflection and still get like 90 fps. Hell divers looks much much better than this game and so does squad what crack you smoking. Even rise looks better than this.
The majority of MH Fanbase didn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about playing an Expensive Prototype Tech Demo that markets Embedded Fake Frame Gen. That's not why they played MH, lol. Crapcom thinks they give a Crap if every Blade of Grass is rendered and has a Conciousness of its own while it cooks Players whole PC at 15 FPS Vaseline Slideshow.
Now they will have to use Wilds as PC Hardware Benchmark instead of Crysis.
You can right now.
