how about posting the rest of your system specs, including screen resolution and game settings?
Soji Feb 11 @ 1:18am
that's about the best you can hope for. I have the same card with a i7 12700f and on medium you might get mid 50s but it'll dip down to 40s all the time on 1080p. DLSS you can get 60 pretty easily but it looks like crap in this game.

The problem is looking at some rocks in the starting area gives you 40 i woudn't imagine fighting some big guy with flashing effects what gives you.

dl ass ass am i right
Weird, I also have 3070 and the demo runs at 60+ in FHD with dlss on.
As said yes it's an "old" card from 2020, but considering the shortage back then, most people could actually get a series 30 like 1+ years later. Still, it's perfectly capable on running many modern games on High/Ultra settings, it's only a matter of optimisation on their end. This game... ehhhh. Doesn't look too optimised tbh.

What CPU you have the game is crazy CPU heavy so even upgrading your gpu most likely won't help much at all.
I mean your brain may be cooked but at least you still can cook food in MHW at 60 fps in the tent. It gives great bonuses for the hunt bosses
I run a 6700xt + R5 7600 , so basically same performance class card.
I get 16275, 96.20 fps, 1440p, all max setting even raytracing, framegen and render quality
It shortly drops to 59fps for a millisecond at the desert scene but other than that its always over 60. So..YES... you are cooked. Might be time for a new cpu.

Time to Upgrade i guess. The Game is badly Otimized and heavy on the cpu.

In the beta or the benchmark? Beta doesn't have the performance fixes. The benchmark does. In the benchmark I get just over 60fps Avg with a 3060TI with High Graphics setting.

40 fps on benchmark seems quite low unless you're going 1440p and beyond at native resolution and some pretty high settings. On the beta that is quite "normal" because it pretty much runs bad across the board.

Another abomination randomly toggle graphic settings and crying here
