Monster Hunter Wilds Beta 2: 44 fps , lowest settings, 720p, DLSS ultra performance. Unplayable, crashes instantly.

Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark: 60 fps average on medium, 1440p, DLSS ultra performance, on a 3070. Lows of like 20-30, highs of 70-80.

RDR2: 90-100 fps on 4K DLSS quality, high settings. High of 171, low of 45.

CP2077: 70 fps average , medium to ultra settings, 4k DLSS performance. 63 low, 80 high.

KCD: 80 fps average , medium settings, 4k native. 70 low, 90 high.

Black Myth Wukong (original benchmark with no post release optimisations): 99 fps average , 120 fps maximum, low 5th 88 fps, minimum (one frame spike) 17 fps. Medium settings, DLSS Ultra Performance, 1440p, motion blur off. https://i.imgur.com/LgTa8tj.jpeg (these settings mimic the Wilds ones exactly).

So you're surprised that games that have been out for years and had multiple optimization patches, run better than a game in beta/benchmarks?

Pretty much this, most the examples given ran like ♥♥♥♥ at launch.

Dragon's Dogma 2 has been out for nearly a year now, and still runs horrible, has more artifacting and crashes for me, and in general is just a worse experience than when it first came out (believe it or not).

So this isn't really an argument, as CAPCOM has shown their "optimisation" of the REengine's open world capabilities, and this is their second attempt and it's worse than Dragon's Dogma 2's performance.

Also I am referring to benchmark, beta is barely functional for me.

Dragon's Dogma 2 still rans horribly. Same company, same engine, nearly a year. Read my other comment.

Edit: also CP2077 looks better, and outside of Juju city or whatever it was called, I had better performance on average than Wilds at launch, on the same hardware, on older Nvidia drivers, using older Nvidia tech.

CP2077 ran better at launch than Wilds. RDR2 ran better at launch than Wilds. KCD ran better at launch than Wilds on older hardware.

I love this video for anyone saying CP2077 ran like anything but hot garbage at launch.

That is a mixture of console AND PC gameplay, no, it ran like trash and it took them 2 years to fix it.

at the very least, MHWilds is hitting its promised targets at launch, unlike CP2077...

This is 4 years ago 3070. Runs better than Wilds does on DLSS 4 on latest Nvidia drivers on an updated 3070.

Especially cyber punk lol

Well fps wise I didn't have much an issue, but boy that game had soft lock after soft lock and eventually hard locked me. I remember a few areas with preformance issues as well at launch till I got hardlicked out of beating the game.

Had to come back years later to enjoy it. Good game though now.

Also I'm not seeing a significant difference in these comparisons other then the low dips, but a second of dips to 30 isn't an issue it's when it chugs at 30 or sub 30 that get annoying.

CP2077 is better now and more stable and has better frames, but launch framerate was better or equivalent to Wilds. Since CP2077 was one of the worse game launches of all time, and looks worse visually than CP2077, it doesn’t really bold well for CAPCOM.

It will probably be less buggy though.

Your brain needs some debugging, it's running at room temperature iq, cyberpunk was trash for ages but they turned it around because the devs were passionate enough, the mh dev team did it for world, it released running like absolute ass they'll do right by Wilds too.
