Who else is excited to play at 30 fps?
Loved the beta, everyone's dunking on the performance but has anyone considered that it may be an artistic choice? Personally, the blurriness and pixelation reminds me of playing monster hunter 4u for the first time. A game like this is exactly what we need to begin reverting back to the good times. Think about all the good games back then and look at how TRASH current gaming is in comparison! We really do need an overhaul. I'm happy that we're now down to 540p, but imagine what we can get in 10 years. I'm hoping for 240p for that original nintendo experience.

I’m hoping for 20 fps personally for a truly cinematic experience. The human eye can’t even see 30 fps.

Tokuda cares more about his ambition than your framerate, good luck convincing them to change how they prioritize things

Ichinose titles will run smoothly on launch but obviously they get disowned and shunned lol

Lol, except Tokuda needed a New Game Engine made specifically for Open World and not Hallways.

They are using the wrong Tool for the Job and they are overshadowing the Core Gameplay, Mechanics and Fanbase of MH.

yeah they'll never chill on the ego and admit to stay on the scope of World + MT Framework, or at least change their mind and admit momentary defeat, instead they must always make everything bigger instead of securing 60fps; difficulty is an afterthought since Tokuda took over RIP going back to FU vibes and enforcing old combat regime

I frame-cap my action-adventure games to 30fps; the more shooter orientated ones (e. g., Remnant II) to 40. The subtle "strobing effect" in films (24fps) can really add to immersion to certain game genres; as distinct from the cartoony look that 60fps+ imbues.

If it ain't a PowerPoint presentation it ain't a modern vidya, unoptimisation isn't a game, it's a lifestyle.
