30 FPS should NEVER be a target
30 fps is terrible to play. No game should ever run at 30 fps. 60 should be the new minimum with performance targets at 120 as most decent tv's can accommodate that and monitors more than double that. Please please please let 30 fps die. Optimize games to play 60+ Also this game recommending DLSS at 1080 makes it look like hot garbage. Capcom do better.

I mean... I wish it was like that but, tbf, hardware is an actual issue. They do that because these games are target at consoles, and rather than try and push outdated hardware to get 60fps in newer games, they go for realistic chances, which is 30fps.

Anything extra is just a bonus.

Hell, even pc only games have similar issues, between optimizing and 1000 different hardware combinations, it's not easy to get the game completely playable for everyone at 60.

The real issue is they don't take advantage of people that have hardware that IS capable of running 60 just fine.
monster hunter's always been a 30fps target at its launches

Not since 2018 for World & then Rise for the pc launches.
But then we get Capcom takes these two steps forward for World&Rise & three steps back for Wilds & it's performance while still having a game that looks woefully outdated in graphics.
Capcom is going backwards in progress performance wise & stagnant with graphic fidelity with the MH franchise.

Capcom standard is getting mighty close to 360&ps3 resolution & fps with ps4 level graphics.

Yes it was. Anything lower thena 960 had to play 30-60 fps on low... and considering the min requirement was a 760

Rise can run on a dang toaster at 60fps any day of the week on almost anything and World could run on a dang RX580-8GB & FX8350 at 1440p 45-60fps at high settings or even at 4K locked 30fps no upscaling, I could have probably run it better but I didn't have a better CPU at the time.
Those two game's were made to run on a wide range of hardware while Wilds which still looks like a last gen game and isn't a big improvement to World is aiming for even mid range rigs to play at 720p upscaled to 1080p 30fps.

Could it hell, World struggled on a 2700X and a 3060Ti, ask me how I know.
From my testing, i can get 60fps at ultra settings with a bit of tweaking. I change upscale to performance and lower shadows from very high to high.

Same with my 5700XT, still does seldomly with my 7900 XTX @ 4K in the Guiding Lands.

People have some real nice rose tinted glasses these days.
From a engine that has beautiful graphics uses low specs, become to a meh graphics uses max specs.

30fps is unacceptable on PC.

Yup, 7800XT and yes now I have the HD texture pack on etc, but I'm still very much struggling for a stable 70fps on the regular maps, and I've not maxxed the graphics out.

Rise is made for the switch.

World could not..... It was made for ps4 which is alot more powerfull then switch.. and it couldnt even maintain proper fps on PS4 XD

and a RX 580 is not a rx 460......

World was definiatly not made for a wide range of hardware,,, Especially when only the 1080 GTX barely scratched surface on high at 60 fps.
