If we get one, I'd imagine 26th or 27th? I dunno. It's definitely gonna take a long time to download, because everyone and their mother will be doing that which may slow it down even further due to high traffic on Steam. If given preload a few days before release, it won't be so bad. It would just be the day 1 patch and then you'd be able to play it.

The high res texture pack will be out on day one as well, at it will take the game from 75 gigs to 150 gigs, and of course i want to use those textures.

So i get about 2 gigs an hour with my download speed, so that will take me a bit over 3 days to download.

So, i did some testing, i used a free speed test on my pc and got 5mbs, but steam seems to only let me download at 700kbs, and i have no idea why.

After 2 hours of trouble shooting i have finally given up, and have accepted my fate to have slow download speeds on steam forever.

Sorry, I wish I could help you, but I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to technical issues like slow download speeds. Might be some weird bug you got with steam is my best guess. If everything else fails, reinstalling Steam might fix it?

It could be a issue with steam, windows 11, or even my provider, or perhaps all them.
