There are even wider ones (180° angle screens/combinations). Mostly used in simulator games/rigs.

But you can lock the UI to 16:9 centered if you like (in the mod). I just did not do it since it was more a performance test then actual gameplay test.

Its like having multiple monitors to multitask. Everyone says they do not need it until they experienced it. Then they could never go back....
Usually sim setups like racing sim or flight sims are using this, they are very expensive. I'm a huge fan of VR, because it's the most immersive experience you can get. For example I've played Cyberpunk with VR Mod. Stunning experience :)
