Deco and Charms
Did they even say anything on how you suppose to get Deco and Charms in HR for WIlds?

Do we have to do RNG-fest like in Word for a Deco that you might never get because RNG Jesus said so?
Or did they make the Rise one where Charms are the RNG?

Or even better, did they finally make it so that you can just craft the Charms and Deco instead of praying to the RNG system?

I think we can expect RNG grind for decos, and thats fine by me. Maybe some crafting, but the good stuff will be RNG, nothing wrong with that. I dont want stuff handed to me without effort.

I mean you still needed effort to craft the Deco you wanted, or you saying that hunting for parts it not effort?

from what they said in dev interview, you will be able to craft single skill deco so you can get the skill you really want but you will have to farm for double skill deco
They can have World's deco system, but throw in more freebies. Much like how you got an atk deco for the Witcher collab, and another atk deco for the Iceborne release.

Another option would be having the weeklies give a rare platinum wyvern print that can use to pick a rare deco you want if you get enough of them. And have the same rare trade also let you get monster gems like in World.

Okay so I was watching the japanese stream today, and I noticed the people showing off the game were fighting the oil octopus and got decos after the fight from the quest completion rewards screen, from that fight they got 3 different decos that were 3 cost.

The fight was 1 hour and 25 minutes into the stream on the capcom channel on youtube to anyone else who wanted to see. Pretty much confirms the system they're going with.

RNG grind isn't effort.

So the RNG system again, eh?
I am going to hate setting up my lance yet again.
If i remember right, the devs said there will be both crafting and farming, i think they said you can craft decos with a single skill but can farm decos with 2 skills.

Was a while since i saw the video.

I think this is a good compromise, you can craft single slot decos, so budget sets will be easy to set up, and from the stream I watched the multi-slot decos are given out very generously, against from what looks like a plain high rank late game fight.

Probably better rates for rarer multi decos for whatever the end-game tempered like monsters will be.

RNG grind isn't effort.
Then what is it?

im pretty sure they said in an interview you can craft basic decos for almost any skill, like +1 attack, +1 guard etc - but slots in armor will be balanced around having better decos that give multiple skills, and those you have to grind.

with that they want you to have the opportunity to have the skill you want, but have to put in the grind if you want everything on top

Farming the ♥♥♥♥ you need, at least RNG is not that bad since monsters have limited stuff they can drop compered to decos.

There's two type of decos, weapon only, and armor only. Weapon only can only apply to weapons, armor only can only apply to armor. You can craft any single skill decos. The RNG comes from dual skill decos, which are weapon only. You can also craft charms, no charm RNG.

Interesting, i need to get my hands on the game to really understand it though.

Ugh I hate the RNG grind since I always played these game's solo for like 99% I always end up modding the grind in some way to be a lot more bearable I don't feel like wasting hundreds of hrs to still not get what I'm aiming for it's not fun it's just padding at that point.
