Monster Hunter Wilds

Do you guys think wilds will be worth it?
Was thinking of preordering this game on GMG since It will only be 55$ to pre order the standard. I ran the benchmark and I got around 62fps on ultra settings with Ray tracing without framegen. With framegen I get about double that. 120 fps more , or less. It's a 3070 GPU with a ryzen 7 CPU,and 32 gigs if you are curious. Not really worried about performance, but the graphics did look pretty blurry on maxed settings, and I should be pulling more fps without framegen then what the benchmark shows. I really didn't like the lack of customizations there were for keybindings. Playing on mouse, and keyboard felt pretty awfull to me. I tried it with a PC controller, and it did feel better, but yet again I can't swap buttons around. Like I want my attack button to be X, not Y. I saw no setting to fix this. The story on the beta felt kinda weak too,but it could pick up later on. My question is do you guys think this game will be worth the money spend, and do you plan to buy, or pre order the game. I'm seeing post how people are cancelling pre orders. Thoughts?

Everything points to Undercooked and Underdeveloped. Your Choice.

You will also get Forced Telemetry, Data Collection and Anticonsumer Malware for additional Performance Hits.

Crapcom doesn't finish their Releases anymore, so you'll be like a "Free" Beta Tester for 1-3 Years and they MAY eventually finish it with the Expansion.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Release and Current State should be a Testament of what to expect.

Lots of people made the same mistake.. its the game, not your PC that needs to be upgraded.
I agree no upgrade is gonna compensate for the lack of optimizations. I just don't know if it's really worth the price of a AAA game in the current state. I also feel like it's just MHW,but with a open world map. It's the same weapons with the same mechanics and no new weapons as far as I know. So it kinda feels like paying for MHW a second time rather than a sequel.

Nah man, its nothing like worlds, There are so many movesets and new rules for the weapons along with familiar sets, The hunting horn was so sic. Not only that but there are many new mechanics in place/play, only veteran hunters can see and feel it way different than world its even more fluid. I've played Every iteration of monster hunter in existence and alot of world on console+Pc combined
Maybe because I don't use frame gen?

Well that's good to hear. I only played with the beta for like 4 hours so didn't get into much of it. Would you say it's worth the price?

I found the weapons I liked, I never liked hunting horn as much as I do now and Great swords, I learned the moveset, is it worth the price? I have the income to buy the game but if its too much you can find it on sale or wait for a discount.

I have to play the full game to figure out if its worth the price but being a monster hunter fan and taking a journey through the series since the ps2 era, its always been worth the price for me because of my bias, I purchased consoles like the wii and cube and so on just to play any part of the series iteration including DS. I like to be the forefront hunters in paving the way for the hunt. I mean I like it man and you can see the forums lots of negativity people who can't run it have an opinion too but that's theirs, I've learned theres always opposition to whatever you like,
Just play it if you like it and it runs well for you.

Worth is pretty much person to person. Game was fun in the beta and I've loved what I've seen my IGN's gameplay showcases for the last month, so it's worth it to me. It might not be for you though, only you can answer that.
I've loved playing the beta so much, it's definitely worth the purchase for me. Can't wait for the full game to be released!

I will not be buying it, at least not at launch. I learned my lesson with DD2.
I'll eventually buy it once they make several optimization passes, goes on sale, and after I finish MH World.

only streamer need to play 1st hand. why dont enjoy the game after a yr or 2 when its better optimized and far cheaper during sale? like many new players who did enjoy RISE and WORLD last yr.

I can afford it,and yeah it plays well. I'm just hoping it's more fun than MHW,but my main issue with world was it's awfully port to PC,and at the time didn't have a PC controller. I could get use to how it feels on controller. I'll probably end up getting it specially since GMG has a 18% discount on it right now.
Short version?
Yes!

Long version?
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!

Sassy version?
YAS!
