CPU will struggle but should be okay if you're fine with 40-60fps 1080/1440p.

1650 has to go in the bin lol.

lmao yeah gpu needs to go. its worked good for me thus far. i was thinking about Rtx 3060 as a replacement tho, that should be okay for 40-60 range, right?

Nah that's also gonna struggle real bad bud.

We're just entering a "new era" of gaming, so you either need mid-high end Nvidia 4XXX or Radeon 7800/7900XT, or buy an Nvidia 5XXX card, next gen Radeon GPU launches in March..supposedly.

But yeah, it's a rough time to be buying a graphics card. And money sucks for everyone right now.

Just download the benchmark and try it for yourself. You could use a better CPU too, the game is very CPU heavy.

I HIGHLY doubt he'll reach 40-60 fps at 1080p/1440p

CPU isn't that great (& the game is very CPU heavy).
And his GPU doesn't even meet the minimum system requirements.

Minimum system requirements;
'This game is expected to run at 1080p (upscaled from 720 native resolution) / 30 fps under the "Lowest" graphics setting.'
^ those are the average FPS I assume.

Therefore I doubt OP will be able to play the game at a stable/locked 30 FPS even at 720p(native).

Nah 10700f will be good for that, if my wifes R5 5500 can handle those speeds, a 10700 definitely can.

You don't have to upgrade the CPU yet, upgrade that GPU for sure the game is both very CPU and GPU intensive. If you're getting something better than a 4070 super/4070 ti, then you want to upgrade the CPU too.

Where it says "minimum" and "recommended" requirements, based on what I've seen, unless you're fine with 30 fps sub 1080p, just completely ignore the minimum requirements, pretend that the recommended is the actual minimum for the game.

Not if we take into consideration his weak GPU though.

^this.
It basically applies to almost every game out there.
System requirements (as in the FPS they claim you'll reach) are heavily spruced up.

Reading is key... they are upgrading the GPU, the CPU will be "okay"

By the time you made your first comment, OP did not even mention what type of GPU he'll get.
If your first comment was solely based on his CPU, then I have to disagree as well though.

30fps at 720p, maybe 1080p at max, seems more reasonable in my opinion (if we are solely talking about the CPU here). Talking about stable/locked FPS by the way, not the average.

See OP;

"Gpu: gtx 1650(already in upgrade list)"

You might want to try being a little less smartass, and try being a little more smart.

I dont remeber the exact results on youtube benchmarks but I believe 3060 will only give you about 30 at 1440p, you should definitely do a bit of research before making the decision to buy this game or not, for me, I think I will not buy.

Vice versa :)

"If your first comment was solely based on his CPU, then I have to disagree as well though."

In your first comment you did not knew what type of GPU the OP would like to get, therefore I disagreed with your claim of "40-60fps 1080/1440p".

Then you claimed your wife can handle those speeds & that's why OP should be able to reach those speeds as well, hence my statement
"Not if we take into consideration his weak GPU though."
I said this because;
1# Your original statement was with the original GPU in mind (hence OP never mentioned what type of GPU he'd like to get).
2# His current GPU(1650) will be a huge bottleneck, therefore his CPU will only help him so much.
3# Even if he upgrade his GPU, his CPU will still be a huge bottleneck & he will most likely not be able to reach those numbers you claimed in your original comment regardless.

Not sure why you've to get personal & result to insults only because I disagreed with your statement.

Not sure why everyone is ignoring this. There is a Benchmark for this game on the store page. Download it and see for yourself what your system can do. You can tweak all the settings and get real numbers :praisesun:

Because you're clearly the kind of person that can never admit when they were wrong, buhbyenow.
