I use BIS if I'm not mistaken. Works great. There are different upscale techs. You should tweak around to find what suits best for you.
Imo, Lossless Scaling not worse, but might be even brtter solution than DLSS.
likely switching to 9700xt when it's out.
9070xt should work astonishingly high performance, IF you can upgrade CPU as well.

Also if you don't trust the links just google (GPU or CPU tier list) the 2025 ones it'l lead to (tomshardware .com)
Upgrading your PC because developers are becoming lazy is not a good reason lol.
that takes an entire new PC... and this game is not worth that, get a PS5 and it will play better and cost way less
If not for this game, he should upgrade regardless, because those specs are outdated. Yeah, tech moves forward, and this hobby costs money.
Yes upgrade is fine but upgrade for a game that looks the part. This has the visuals of an early ps4 but demands next gen performance just like dogma 2 not worth upgrading for. The devs expect you to use frame gen and dlss to get ok performance
It's got more moving parts, you just gotta know the technicalities of what's going on and why it's not as bad as people are making it out to be.
Yes but not enough to justify the performance vs fidelity. The technicalities are that they cant be bothered to fix their engine, dragons dogma 2 has the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ issues. If your gonna defend them atleast know what you are talking about or get paid for it.
I know exactly what I am talking about, and I'd argue it probably isn't worth ot cuz clearly people don't even notice lol why implement it if people won't notice and complain? They shouldn't!
But free flowing hair, the fur generation, the massive poly count increase on monsters, the swaying trees, and larger fields of tall grass, making sure everywhere you walk feels like it has moving life... they all take up resources, I respect the effort because my knowledge of those and their effect.
But clearly people don't notices, they don't care about the finer details, I love them but it's not enough, so yeah they shouldn't try again I guess. It won't hurt to launch in the same engine as MH world, plenty of game don't use graphical upgrades for sequels and MH wasn't built around that anyway so make a fun game with less smaller details for rhe blind masses I guess
