Upgrade my pc or not?
Just asking for some advice from people who actually know what they're doing (unlike me), for the full release i was considering upgrading my graphics card, currently i am using a NVIDIA GeForce 1660ti but i was considering upgrading to a 2080ti. Is this is a good idea, or would it be smarter to stay with what i have? (my processor is AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, and i have 16GB RAM)

Honestly, both your CPU and GPU are too old for this game, and a 2080ti won't really help you much. I don't know your budget, but you should consider something more modern, like a Ryzen 7700x and a RX 7800xt or similar.

If you feel like buying a 2080ti for just wilds its better to wait patches cause world good or bad specs the game was laggy and crashung for everyone but if you play a lot of demanding games sure buy it even tho you can get a better graphics card for cheaper (7800xt)

If you see anything cheap for it's normal price and a significant step up take it! There is a very high likelihood PC Parts are going to raise in price lol

No they're not do you even check system requirements? Anyway op there is a beta test and a benchmark tool, your specs seem sufficient. Above minimum at least.

Clearly outdated if we wants top play on release even me with a rx6600 (average graphic card) know i wont be able to have a good experience

A 2080ti won't help much. Either upgrade more or don't bother at all.

Personally, I'd wait on Wilds and see how the final game runs then reevaluate.

What do you consider a good experience? If you want more than 1080p 60fps then yeah, buy something new.

My 2070 can get 60fps, he will be just fine with a 2080ti on the right settings
Make sure you are using an SSD. At first I installed it on my HDD and it was unplayable. Unloaded textures, stuttering, origami people, the lot. The game even showed me a warning that playing on an HDD would have issues. But after I installed in on my SSD, I can now get a steady 30-40fps on medium settings at 1080p

A 2080ti would be like you didn't upgrade at all from a 1660ti; I would recommend at least a 4090 (though it will be outdated by the time the game is released, so I would actually recommend a 5090, even though it would be best to wait for the 6090)

in case anyone needs it, everything I said was just sarcasm

your cooked bro, just buy a PS5 if u want to play it , my friend is on a fairly good rig running every on medium settings and he has a 3070ti getting 30-40fps

5700x3d or wait for 9600x3d or medusa 8 cores
Two words: Lossless Scaling

Thank me later

While the 2080 Ti is somewhat better than your current GPU, you will run into a bottleneck with your current CPU.
Technically you could get around 20 more FPS (on average) with the 2080 Ti, but you won't be able to reach that/it's full potential because like I said your CPU is a bottleneck.

In my opinion it's not worth the upgrade.

Apparently you do not realize what those system requirements mean.
First of all, those system requirements are not accurate in my opinion (in fact, most of the time such things aren't accurate).

And even IF those would be accurate/true to the actual experience, it means OP would've to play;
At 1080p (upscaled from 720 native resolution) / 30 fps under the "Lowest" graphics setting. with his current setup (upgrading to a 2080 Ti will only give him a few more frames on average).
