Worried about CPU Temp
Hey, im new on pc gaming, my setup is
RYZEN 5600
NVIDEA RTX4060
32 GB RAM

Im getting the CPU Temp at 80C on heavy moments and usually between 68 to 76 on MH Wilds.
Im playing in medium quality with dlss 3.5 on quality upscaling.

Is it safe to keep playing or these temperatures are not normal ?

I Also have a Rise Mode 240mm water cooler and 3 fans.

I live at Brazil btw and the weather was about 28C to 30C outside.

best thing to do is put your PC outside and let it inhale the cold winter weather
Yep, stresses Systems to up to the Moon for more than Obvious Reasons. Hopefully it kills all those Cringe Shills Setups.

They are also forgetting People will have to run ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Malware over that Mess as well so Good Luck.

80C is fine for that CPU. Doesn't even start throttling until 90.

80 is the "keep an eye on it" threshold for CPUs but it's still ok. Start worrying if it goes to 85 or higher. GPUs won't throttle until 105.

Mine went around 80 and about 1 to 2 hour it shutdown. So getting this on console.

That's not normal behavior for a CPU.

I don't know I can easily play big game like Total war warhammer but somehow running this cause it to shutdown after a few hour.

better cpu cooler

If 80 is your peak you're absolutely fine. Could it be better ? Yes. Is it dangerous ? No
Id say thats fine. If you do notice really high temp idles above 50C, depending on how long you have had your CPU i would then look at repasting it. But for Wilds it loads all threads so your CPU is probably at like 1.4V the whole time you are in game, around 80C is where id figure on an air cooler

80 is normal for Ryzens nothing to worry. You can undervolt it to gain 5-10 degree using Ryzen Master.
A better cooler will give you better temps most likely but ryzens throttle at 90 as long as you aren't going over 85 you should be fine.

Depends on the air cooler they make some pretty beefy ones that are slightly below aio performance.
Ryzen 5xxx have typically a TjMax of 90°C.
So sure it could be better but its totally ok.
