30 FPS with 2K resolution and a 3080TI?
Come on man... I know 3080TI is getting a bit long in the tooth.. but wth. This game doesn't look THAT good. Even on lowest settings it's struggling to hit 40 FPS?? Like... wtf man. And yeah yeah... DLSS.. no. Can I enable sure.. but I shouldn't have to, particularly on lowest settings. This is crazy. Was gonna pre-order, glad I waited to see the beta. Hard pass as of now.

That said, bench doesn't have major storms the game has, or other players running around. I'll definitely be holding off until the final game release to see if the bench is accurate... if so, i can live with those scores...

I have to say its your system having issues, i have the same specs as yours and ingame im having 50-60fps and 42+ in storm..
My 3080 with a 5900X @ 4.5Ghz all-core gets a score of about 22000 and 64FPS average on the high preset @ 2K resolution. Could be something else up with your system.

Depends on where I am I can get near those. The town you start in after tutorial and all the other players about... I get about 25-30 there... running 1440p.

I'm getting a mostly stable 60fps with everything set to high and rt to max. Dlss quality at ultrawide 1080p. (2560x1080p). My cpu is a 5700x3d and have a 3080 12Gb. Your cpu is most likely the bottleneck.

Use FSR 3 instead DLSS an see the diference

Actually iam waiting for the next 5 series myself lol all i got is a 9800x3d atm

I'm right around 4 year mark.. got a 3080 TI and ryzen 7 5800x around 2021... I know it's far from bleeding edge now.. but neither should be performing this bad at 2k w/ DLSS off, nevermind with it on. It's crazy. Changing graphics setting makes little difference too.

Now.. could be CPU bound, but based on the gamegpu post, i'm right around what they were hitting.. average is between 40-60 fps, but the main town is horrible at around 25... bummer. Curious if it'll be better on PS5... I could get it there I guess...

guy literally says his fps is unchanging when changing gpu settings and that hes not cpu bound in the same sentence. money doesnt buy iq obviously lmao
Try turning of Vsync if you haven't it is borked and causing fps issues.
