Go away.
This is the perils of listened to an expanded fanbase that doesn't actually know what they are talking about.
you should be able to manage 90 FPS at 2K with this rig anyway. are you trying to push ultra settings?
they're called ultra for a reason
Mining ore, for example, was perfect in MHWI. The *tink tink tink* of the pickaxe is cathartic after a hunt. I never once saw anyone complain about it.
The issue was before and after. After, with Rise, you mined an entire node with a single hit. That made it lose its relaxing quality. Before world, it was annoying because picks broke, had to be carried, and everything took up inventory space.
MHWI was literally the perfect middle. I never once saw anyone ask for different. Whomever Capcom is listening to, it ain't the players.
GPU: 4080 Super (16gb)
RAM: 64gb
OS: Win 11 Pro
I play at 1080p 120Hz (goes to 144 but I have dual monitors where the other one is limited to 60Hz). With DLSS, High Raytracing, and Maxed settings, I tend to pull on average 100-110 FPS on the benchmark. Without DLSS and running native resolution, that goes down to about 80FPS on average, and with some upscaling it lands around the 70FPS spot. I'm used to gaming at 60FPS so that isn't too much of an issue with me.
I'll probably game with DLSS as the blur doesn't bother me when it comes to fighting big monsters close up, which is basically 90% of the game when it comes down to it. The laggiest location was the grassy area just before the desert, so I expect somewhat similar performance in forested areas just like in World.
And if anyone wants to know, my Ryzen stands around 55-60C temp range when I run the benchmark, which is pretty good considering this thing is designed to run pretty hot (95C is it's target when maxing performance) even with a proper cooling. Temps are performance on this chip, so the only thing throttling me right now is the GPU.
