Cancelled my pre order. This is not ok.
Played the crap outa worlds. Have a 7950X3d+7900XTX and having to use framegen and upscaling at 2k with NO raytracing is pathetic.

Capcom is cooked, After the mess of DD2 we shoulda seen this comming. I didnt pay this money for these lazy ass devs to do no work. Sad as I was REALLY REALLY looking forward to this. But no bloody way. Modern development is a joke.

true and the game looks like utter garbage on lower graphics grainy and blurry as hell
Mine runs fine, for sure playing it lol

can always refund through steam after launch to see if it runs any better then

Yeah no you could have the highest end hardware possible but relying too heavily on tricks like DLSS and Frame Gen is where the line is drawn. Modern game development is taking two steps forward and 80 steps back

No. I didnt pay this and enjoy high end gaming to turn my PC int to potaoe to play this crap. Ill just play world to get my MH fix. This this is cooked. Capcom is a joke. DD2 had all sorts of issues they never fixed. They are a remake company now. They couldnt code their way out of a paper bag. This engine can not handle this.
a 7950x3d is not a bottleneck.

They literrally said they are targeting 1080p30. And say for more to use framegen/upscaling. I highly doubt they are gonna pull 40fps out of their buts before it launches. This game is a massive disapointment.

its a capcom game its gonna run just like the beta runs now.
Every settings configuration I have tried with this game still looks and runs horribly. The PS5 version looks less grainy and has a much more consistent framerate. This is an actual technical disaster, I can't believe they think this is an acceptable product to release this month.
The benchmark looked amazing and performed very well. haven't been able to put much time into the demo yet. Hopefully that will be similar but I hear it's less optimized then the benchmark or release. i guess we will see.

CPU: 7800X3D
GPU: 7900XTX
SETTINGS: 4K, FSR Quality, ULTRA, Low RT, FG

Getting 130+ FPS. Performance is not amazing but not terrible. At 2K with no framegen I would be getting lower FPS.

4K + FSR Quality is basically 1440. If FG is disabled then my FPS will go down because the interpolated frames won't be generated. Still, I'm getting over 60 FPS at Ultra with no FG.

Not advocating for FG. Use it if you like better motion clarity (especially in the towns). Don't use it if you want better latency.

Not great performance. Has issues but not terrible performance. Definitely not forced to 2K with hardware similar to yours.

Are you not getting these numbers in the benchmark?

Hmm, feels like the beta runs like 5% better than the previous one? Maybe I'm just imagining things though.

Either way, use the benchmark tool if you want to see what the launch is supposed to be like. For me, I'm buying this game based on the beta being playable on my computer. If the launch version is better, then so be it. Also, the new chained boss was pretty fun to fight so far.

Check out the YouTube channel Threat Interactive he's a dude with a hyperfixation on performance in modern gaming and he showcases a lot of what's actually the problem with these modern games. He covers a lot and shows why things like TAA actually look as bad as they do.
Not sure if anyone have read the post by the developer, but basically the 2nd OBT is not optimized yet and will only be optimized on day 1 of launch, i would say give it a chance on day 1 if it still plays poorly then get a refund after

P.S i was also annoyed that the game is still running poorly till i read the post
