I'm pretty sure the reason is simple, setting up the armor to resize with a customizable body size would be a decent amount of effort for a game with at least 8 unique models per monster (4 for each gender, alpha/beta and feminine/masculine design)
so to simplify it, no body customization. Skin colour doesn't affect body shape so its apples and oranges

Seriously, where did all these pearl clutching neo-puritans come from? Half these people would be drooling over the prospect of making a gender bent freak in Cyberpunk, but when it comes to making an actually attractive female with massive honkers it's all this weird pseudo-controversy. Some people actually like big breasts, many women have them, many men like them, it's not exactly a crazy new fad.

Totally understand not having it from a game making perspective in regards to armour fitting etc. And who wouldn't want some limitations, so it's not getting silly and yes for real it could be done in a completely tasteless fashion. But having the option to add huge hooters to my hunter in the character customiser would be an improvement, and don't pretend it wouldn't be. Same with muscle size/definition. Why wouldn't you want those options?! Oh right, then I might look like a "weird obsessed gamer" to someone on the internet that IDGAF about.

You can't because they are tied to the armor you are equiping. Your chest size changes with armors, it was like that in world, I believe it will be the same here.

One is a simple texture, the other is more complicated having to run several morphs on the mesh.

Usually there are some armors with different bodies though like the Kulve Taroth armor in MHW.

Tits are tits, lovely in most sizes but I tire of seeing massive jugs because people can't stop misusing women, just deal with what you are given and use mods when they come since they will 100% come. With my general experience of people and a chest slider in games they are essentially adding breasts as a weapon into the game lol, I like fantasy and all but I prefer some realism and sense, the majority push the sliders to the max, its hardly ever about I have big breasts in rl and want to replicate or something sensible like that, lets not kid ourselves here, its usually guys just wanting something sexy to stare at. Last thing I want is to be fighting a monster and seeing giant tits flopping in my view and thinking "Yeah, your backs going to break"

Baffles me why people go so far to make their ideal woman or something to oogle at in games. I can't help but find it pathetic at points, are people not buying the same game as me? Are you not excited to hunt monsters? Whos spending their gaming time staring at tits and ass? Thats rather sad. I made a pretty character and glanced over the physique, its hardly going to be seen unless you make it a mission to see a lot of skin and you'd be fighting monsters most of the time anyway. This isn't NSFW modded skyrim.

Spend the effort making something much more worthwhile. Glad to see some people have sense on this matter anyhow but I fully expected to see such a discussion because it always happens. I feel its like the people that demand a female character in a male only protagonist game and refuse to buy it until that demand is met, like dude, really?. I'm just happy I can be my own gender and create a beautiful look thats realistic and natural looking but I can enjoy a game without such. If you cannot be happy without massive boobs then its time to re evaluate some things because thats just wild.

Hahahah yes! As someone that also loves women and loves boobs I'm always confused why their ideal woman has boobs that just make me go "oh no, her back must hurt, sports are probably difficult too :/ I hope she can get a reduction if she wants it". When doing.. certain things together in my experience they also can get in the way and keep her from moving well, so I don't get the appeal in that scenario either.

This game was also made In japan if we entirely ignore how changing body proportions can mess up armors... their average woman doesn't have tig old bitties! I'm sure a few do lol but that's probably also a point of why, they model it after the average person there.

Beyond the game you'll get mods, most all games have big titty mods lol so you'll be fine

It's not that we don't, I'm sure everyone here "goons" whatever the ♥♥♥♥ that word is now lol but I understand the context, but to demand them in video games is dumb.

If you wanna run around with nude mods, or wear lace bikini, or have a new weapon type "jugs" cuz your rubber baby buggy bumpers are big enough to do damage. Then fine lol but that's on you to mod, you don't get to demand it in base vanilla games, because you are unlikely to get it lol

This has bin the standard of games for a long time, a single body form for either gender, as it's less work to mold armor to 2 forms then it is 22 forms or more 🤣
