About optimization
Does capcom know how frame gen works cause i a have the recommended specs but doing frame gen at 30 - 50 fps is diabolical , latency is gonna go crazy and not even look that good as a "new gen game" really misleading from capcom but hey braindead fans always find a way to cope i guess (please capcom delay and work on it)

The base assumption is that everyone will be using pad, where the latency is less obvious.

Theory:
Since they do the same on PS5 with upscaling 30 fps to 60, they went for the same approach here on PC?

I do agree, do only use FSR and co. on native 60+ fps.

maybe i guess but its still sad to see a lot of people in the community being angry cause they cant launch it imo it goes opposite of what monster hunter is (a community driven game where ppl have a good time)

If it’s not optimized at launch then just voice your concerns in a review i’m sure many will

Well lets be honest and realistic here. Over the time and years, these people will get quieter and quieter, because they will upgrade to modern hardware eventualy and in 1-1,5 year(s) when the Master Rank expansion drops. most will have decent system to play and join the fun again. It hurts them now because they have to do a painfull money investment, but they did that with their old system too, so its just a repeat of the old upgrade crying.

Time heals all wounds people say, here it makes them upgrade over time.

This is a "current generation game", so older generations have support, but are not the target. I mean could be worse. Imagine they would force Win11 support on the game already with Win10 running out in a few month. That would be an even bigger burdon to uphold.

the issue is that the average user still uses a 3060/4060 lower or equivalent gpus so i dont get for who this game is

i know this hurts but... the average user should be fine with medium settings and 30 fps console like experience and that hardware is capabile of that. Users have set the 60 fps target standard for themself, not the games developer. 30fps medium like on consoles is the aim for casuals and their hardware. It hurts, but its true and not only here... sadly...

i had a PS4 and never had a single game with 60 fps. And i played the hell out of MH World and iceborne there. All just 30. What game did have 60 support? PS5 "quality setting" also all just 30 fps target.

oh wow did not know that. Thanks for the heads up! Sadly the mayority of games (and Monster Hunter included) went for the 30 fps standard and decided to stay there.

We talk vanilla PS4 (release hardware) and PS4 slim.

Special upgrade hardware that was not the standard is sadly out of the question.
