Though likely not me specifically, as i like to play solo.
it's on PC where all these games run like ♥♥♥♥.
and btw all these games I mentioned look 3 times better than Wilds.
Of course we'll see how this game actually plays on launch. I agree that console is a more stable experience usually but this isn't the kinda game I wanna sink 100 plus hours on both PS5 then PC afterwards.
have fun dealing with PC crappy framerates and crappy frame generation for the next 3 months to a year , either that or go buy a 5090
I didn't know your system was faster than a rtx 5090 paired with a 9800x3d

You got a bit RT, Fur sim, Monsters, openword, lobby with NPC-s. The avg FPS is bs but you can get an idea if you watch only the hub to hub part.
Bottom line is that the engine they've made the game with simply wasn't the best choice for this title (and DD2), and due to that its taxing on all platforms. On PS5 if you wanna play on 60fps then you will be upscaling the game from 1080p and even then it might not be a stable 60fps. Hell, even the 30fps resolution mode is not native 4K and instead upscaled.
Yeap, Ps5 pro is pretty much a 7800xt or between 4070 super. due to optimiztion & not running ♥♥♥♥ like windows.
For the price of graphica card + good cpu & ram/new mother board now, it's a good pick simply cuz pc graphic card price is out of control.
Nvidia isn't really a graphica card company anymore, it's an AI chip company that sells graphic card on the side but you need to pay $$ since they make 3-5x more profit using same wafer for AI chips & they feel like they are doing charity for selling you an over price graphic card.
The last few years graphic card only got marginally better but it's being carried by DLSS & frame gen alike, since ps5 has it's own frame gen now. it will be better optimized for all the games comes on it, unlike pcs where you have to wait for the driver supports.
This game really wants at least an 8-core CPU.
this is just an observation over the years of many post complaining about top spec rigs having less than stellar performance.
so honestly i can not fault anyone who chooses to go the console route with all the problems and issues people have been griping about with their powerful rigs. its not really painting a good look for pc gaming if even the most expensive setup is having such a hard time playing newer games. again this is just an observation from multiple post of those with high spec rigs complaining about how terrible the performance of games today have been on them. the optics in a sense kinda leading consoles being abit more favorable. wont be the best in performance but vs the cost of a high end rig and people still saying games run terrible on them i dont think new people who are wanting to get into pc gaming are seeing the trade off being worth the cost.
i perfer pc over console but i can see why people might opt for console over pc.
