Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds

Statistiche:
Benchmark Tool Compiling Shaders too long
It's been a good solid 10 minutes of wait, and still going (its about 50% done).

Besides, isn't it suspicious to be compiling shaders when I'm here to benchmark, so for the real game, is it going to take even longer to compile every shader? Why do I feel like this is just to bloat the benchmark score to bait me into buying in?

are you using an hdd or ssd? what are your specs
If you believe there's tons of stuff in the benchmark, chances are so do the dataminers. Let the diggers grab what they can about this little program.
I'm having the same issue. Compiling the Wilds benchmark takes over 20 minutes. The funny thing is that compiling Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, which came out a few days ago, on the same computer takes less than 10 seconds.
Compiling shaders issues occured quite often during last Summer for both MHW and MHRise specially for a certain graphics driver (I think it was AMD).

Upgrading to the latest driver is a must, but one thing I really dislike about nvidia (hence I switch to Radeon) is that their nvidia latest drivers for gaming often caused problems.

Did you update all your drivers? try doing a clean driver install of your rtx 3070 ti, i had an issue in the past like this too and a clean install+ driver updates fixed it for me,

but then again shader compilation take into account all your system stuff like ram, cpu and drive.

Yeah I did, but i did express installation because I didn't wanna lose my settings, if that really helps ill try it then maybe.

not worth keeping your settings, I always do a clean installation to make sure nothing in it conflicts, I've had issues like that a long time ago before and now I just do clean.

It also wipes out the shaders all clogged up in your saves.

took a while on my 5700x/rtx 4070 rig aswell

i didnt time it because i switched to watch sports while it was going. but its one of the slowest ive ever experienced.
probably in excess of 10mins or so.
It uses only up to 55% of CPU usage while doing shader compilation, this is all because of intel 13th and 14th gen that had issue with their power limit and the dev so lazy that they think every cpu is the same.
Yeah, the benchmark runs like ass for the first time. Took like forever for shaders compilation to complete. Other AAA titles didn't hogging this much. smh
