Upgrading to the latest driver is a must, but one thing I really dislike about nvidia (hence I switch to Radeon) is that their nvidia latest drivers for gaming often caused problems.
The benchmark is on my SSD
Specs are:
Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 3070ti 8 gb vram
16GB DDR4
1920x1080p
Did you update all your drivers? try doing a clean driver install of your rtx 3070 ti, i had an issue in the past like this too and a clean install+ driver updates fixed it for me,
but then again shader compilation take into account all your system stuff like ram, cpu and drive.
Yeah I did, but i did express installation because I didn't wanna lose my settings, if that really helps ill try it then maybe.
not worth keeping your settings, I always do a clean installation to make sure nothing in it conflicts, I've had issues like that a long time ago before and now I just do clean.
It also wipes out the shaders all clogged up in your saves.
i didnt time it because i switched to watch sports while it was going. but its one of the slowest ive ever experienced.
probably in excess of 10mins or so.
