Dont turn on Frame Generation
Frame Generation causes immediate Crash. I got a suped up pc and it still crashes. frame generation has always been bad in my opinion anyways.

40 series is old. upgrade your graphics card
then you should check your pc, got no problems with or without Frame generation
I've run my machine through about 20 benchmarks. I cannot tell the difference between on or off so it is staying off.
A higher number means nothing if it is fake. I'll just glue a note on the corner of my screen that says 420 fps
I've had no problems running frame gen.

None here with or without frame gen. I get a lower score with Frame gen though. 24K vs 31K.
the Frame Generation feature of DLSS 3 that relies on the Ada Lovelace architecture's dedicated hardware, are not officially available on the older GeForce RTX 20 and 30 series cards.

Idiots are trying hard to run, and they get what they deserve. They learned nothing during beta test, and they cannot even run the benchmark.

Education is a good way to optimize your mindset. And this post is a kind warning to all nvidia's useless idiots, who have got already outdated garbage known as rtx 30 series or below.

Turn on steam FPS counter and see if it matches the benchmark. It did with frame gen off, in my experience, I didn't notice if it did with it on, but I would assume it does.

but don't give up hope, they already said they are potentially bringing frame gen to the older series.
I got a separate egup for my system, without frame gen I got an average of 40fps, but it drastically improved with frame gen with 84 fps. Game looks much better for me at least with fsr and frame gen.
running a 7900XT with zero issues. 175fps in ultra with framegen on. no crashes or anything in 1440p

Sicne nvidia has not provided anything other than 40 series exclusive dlss 3.5 for this particular title, while radeon is a key figure for both PS and XBox consoles, so that there must be only hope for nvidia users.

But I doubt it.

Recent nvidia game driver updates have been rather disastrous. Not sure if they will provide anything rather than dlss 3.5, which automatically disqualifies all older nvidia GPUs in prior to 40 series. Even if you have 3080 or 3090, you must stick to 1080p. That sucks.

Using RTX 4080 and i7-13700K
4K resolution.

Getting avg 63 FPS on high settings, WITHOUT frame generation.

With it, i get slightly more, but the game looks way worse, with artificating when there's fast movement.
So frame generation is awful imo. i won't use it.
