the game looks blurry no matter what i do and i straight up CANNOT fix the grass looking absolutely terrible, dunno what they are cooking but this aint it
its a shame too because i bet itll be a really fun game. Im skipping it though because its just not playable at an appropriate framerate.
The overall performance is so off putting that it is getting in the way of enjoying it.
The reliance on all of this frame gen and ai stuff makes triple a gamings future sorta bleak. Most decent titles now a days are by indies I swear.
I hopped in and immediately turned off scaling frame gen and the 3070ti was barely pushing 45fps. On top of the game just looking overall muddy. I just don't remember world looking this terrible at launch. I rember being stunned at how well it looked.
you can only see a real difference if you crank up the internal resolution to 200 supersampling, And then you start to see how the game was intended to look, and how it looks on the promo material. But thats no were near real time footage.
In straigth comparison to KCD 2 which runs on a Cry Engine KCD2 is razor sharp and crisp and yields tons of frame even with high NPC counts.
RE Engine is atrocious. And the fact that half of the time textures look like smeared on vaseline doesn't help the case.
Sure it has something to to do with upscaling.
I hate using upscaling, i even capped my FPS to 30 in Dragon's Dogma 2 to play at 4k high on a 3080. Might do the same for this, but DLSS quality is a decent compromise for 40-50 fps avg
3080 can only make 40-50? really? It smells really fishy as nvidia not providing proper driver for older GPUs, which may have something to do with 50 series release? Don't you think?
