Requiring DLSS and Frame Generation is a TRAVESTY
This technologies were for the CONSUMERS not for lazy developers that can't and won't optimize their games, requiring DLSS and Frame Generation for 1080 is nothing short of a TRAVESTY.

Your game has to be AWFULLY optimized for that to be true, I don't even remember a single game that has done this.

The Beta was AWFUL and showed us exactly how bad performing this game was, even 4000 series cards had to RELY on Frame Generation to get some playable fps, it's honestly a joke, like I said, nothing short of a travesty.

"i dIDnT hAd aNi IZzU!"

Stop lying fanatics, anyone posting this or similar stuff will get an immediate block.

"oH bUt tHeY lOwErEd tHe rEKirEMeNts!"

No, they are still putting DLSS and Frame Generation as requierements, nothing is fixed until they remove those.

This is a video I made about this topic back then when the beta released, the links are on the image below.

And somehow this video IS still relevant because the wiritng was on the wall, the game is an unoptimized mess.

It is also obvious that the defenders don't have the technical know-how to even understand why.

"Why not use the technology?" Because you don't use frame gen to hit 60. You use it to go above 60. "Why?" Because these are not real frames. All they do is make a 30 fps game look like a 60 fps game (or 60 like 120). It still plays and feels like a 30 fps game (basically a Switch port). The lower you go, the worse it plays, the fewer frames you can generate, etc. This is especially bad for 120+ fps gamers like me. I can't just magically quadruple my frames. All of this is basic PC gaming knowledge. You. Should. Know. This.

DLSS and frame gen are supposed to help let lower-spec PCs play newer games with a trade-off. Now that trade-off is basically a requirement - and some of you act like that's completely fine. Absolutely baffling behavior that can only be explained by ignorance if you ask me.

If you're fine with the game's performance, by all means, enjoy it.
You do you, I am not going to stop you.

But don't think you can come here and freaking argue with people who know better.
If we stop replying, it's not because you "won", but because we deem you a lost cause not worthy of our time.

Digital Foundry will tear this thing apart, btw.
You know it, I know it, the people at Capcom know it.

I am so disappointed.

Just spend $1000 for one game using a card that will be outdated in 2 years so someone can tell you to buy a 6090 at $1500
You know where to get a 5090 for $1k????

Again, when the game releases, you can quote me.

interestingly I benchmarked around 7% faster in Proton then Windows11, maybe there are more gains for older hardware if you were really on the line as far as performance goes.

Issues I had with the beta were the Volumetric Fog applies a LUT(or something) that makes the game grey (disable VF completely in ini to get rid of the gray) & not having direct access to RT in the beta. There were some LOD pop in issues but nothing like the PS1 era graphics I saw people posting.

but
beta & benchmark werkz4me
block me I guess

And the proof?

And the proof?

https://youtu.be/bRJL0XPALKc I mean he is not "wrong" it can get 90s as average FPS
But keep in mind please the 7900XT us on average a bit (~18%) faster than a 3080.

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-3080-vs-AMD-RX-7900-XT/4080vs4141

IF anyone thinks that this is actually "good" performance ...
That card should knock 4k Ultra out of the park for how bad the graphics are in this game.

I just can't wrap my head around people defending bad performance xD
Sure if you throw money at the problem it goes away. But its STILL bad performance in the end xD

I think my problem is I barely know AMD cards so I don't know what type of performance I should expect from this claims by AMD users but now that you said that it's faster than a 3080 then yes, the performance is low for how the game looks.

But also is a complete MISREPRESENTATION of the results saying "90 fps average" when in the video you posted it shows some absurd lows.

This FANATICS always lie, gaslight and misrepresent everything and this is why the benchmark tool is also a gaslight tool more like because it completely misrepresents the actual performance of the game.

Don't worry they've had a few weeks to super optimise the game. It will prob run 120 fps easy on launch without FG.

Don't worry when Nvidia Wilds Driver drops I'll post a 120fps 4k score here that NutzhaulDommy can't see.

Nvidia already dropped the driver, it literally changed nothing (at least for me).

Oh I'm updating now. I doubt this driver will do anything for performance other than allowing DLSS profiles via NVidia App (which I'm assuming you tried on the benchmark)

Are you in the game and not the benchmark? Also this driver only allows DLSS profiling support. It's not the performance enhance driver.

Neither Nvidia nor Wilds had access to the game/ 5xxx series. I would expect another update in 1-2 weeks.

From what my friend has been telling me it's like 3-5Fps so nothing big but still nice.

I tried the new driver via the benchmark because some people claimed it enhances the performance, but for me it literally changed nothing;

Perhaps another driver update (for MH Wilds) will be available soon, but unfortunately I don't have high hopes that it'll change that much performance-wise (I could be wrong though).

"Fast" claimed "UP TO 30% performance increase";
