Performance is not enough on a 4080 super.
1440p, 5800X3D, 4080 super, regular high+DLAA, sub 60 on multiple occasions.
Highly unfortunate that 30fps is a high refresh rate in Japanese developers' eyes, but the rest of the world have moved on to the 21st century.

And before you say "turn on frame generation", it's designed to turn already solid framerates into a buttery smooth experience. Not bandaging something like this into a tolerable one.

AM4 CPU does not match even 4070. You should sell your 4080 super and buy something like B580.

Why are you using DLAA? DLAA literally uses more resources to make the image look even cleaner than normal Anti-Aliasing algorithms like TAA or FXAA, and so will DROP performance. Either change to no upscaling with a different AA algorithm, or use a DLSS preset.

DLAA is your problem, it's an absolute resource hog. Use DLSS Swapper to install DLSS4, and then set DLSS setting to Quality. Your frames will skyrocket with no real visual difference.

Not quite the same but on my 4080 super, 2560x1080res, everything ultra + ray tracing at Medium, AMD 7 9800x3d, i never dipped below 158fps in any spot with highs around 190 cept for food cutscenes which were at 250+ but thats pointless.

I'm not using DLAA like yourself however, CPU and DLAA being the biggest differences (no frame gen either). MHWorld and Wilds are way focused on CPU but that still shouldn't make it that big of a dif between yours and mine.

9950X3D lives in its shadows when it comes to gaming.

Thanks for the pointers. They make sense, but I'll hold off because it's a bit too much to do and I don't trust nVidia's software atm considering the black screen some are experiencing.

12900kf I9
4080 super
32 GB DDR5
NVME.2SSD 4th gen

Running on all ultra with RT on max with DLSS on quality and the game stayed at 60 FPS. I could of gone higher, but 60 looks/feel fine to me and my eyes suck anyways lol. DLAA is something I only do when I use framegen.
Did some digging and most of the things I found on the internet indicate DLAA's performance hit is relatively minimal.

I get a black screen when i use DLSS4. If i use the DLSS4 Frame Gen dll this happens, if i use the standard DLSS dll only there is no black screen.

Did you use the swapper program to implement it, or did you do it by hand? And what GPU are you using? Haven't seen that happen to anyone yet.

Something wrong on your end and i doubt its the CPU at all, the only thing i've changed was enabling Ray Tracing (Medium):

EDIT: Forgot to mention my FPS is globally capped at 117 FPS.

Yes with DLSS Swapper 1.1.5 and did manual too, that's how i found out it was the FG dll. I'm using DLSS4 dll version 310.2.1 maybe later i'll try with 310.1, could be a conflict with something such as RivaTuner but doubt that's the reason since no games have this issue.
