Why bother?

The game doesn't look much better than World, judging by the screenshots, and by all accounts it runs terribly. Why? What's the point in making a game "look better" if it ruins the performance? It's not just this game, pretty much every game coming out does this.

Beta, I couldn't even keep consistent 60FPS with DLSS performance on and had to use frame gen while on medium. Benchmark let me pump nearly everything to highest, no upscaling, no frame gen, and raytracing set to high with an average FPS of 79.

79 is not good... thats 2017 performance.
most of us want to play at 144fps 1080p high/ultra.
this game is not optimized at all

welcome to pc gaming. people who played oldschool mh knows nothing about pc because it was on the console all the way. I was playing it on the oldschool systems way back during mh2 myself and they kept jumping from sony to nintendo and then switch and so on and I had to buy all that crap just to play it, glad to see how good it looks today and the tech now.

Ya, its like ugprading a console, from ps1-ps5 or so on,
in pc we always upgrade, when a game doesn't work for me I figure out my spec on what I need to upgrade and run it. This isn't a dedicated console.
Been doing it for YEARS.

Game runs fine for me will be upgrading myself to a 5 series once the one I want hits, iam ok with the 3080 rtx ti right now. Stop crying about running games on 10 year old hardware, I did that last month and upgraded. I even melt star citizen

All MH series have been designed for 30fps.

The question is how much quality you can afford spending, and whether you think it is worth upgrading. Buying a new GPU does not instantly improve the performance, so that considering the whole upgrade is necessary in 2025.

MHWilds and Doom or even GTA6 are questioning your commitment.

nice turn off the Fake frame gen and show up the detailed settings, 80FPS when most people have 1440+HZ monitor is almost laughable , we aren't live on 1990 when peaple think 3d on 30 FPS was crazy innovation or whatever they achieved idk

lol ,do you have pokomen Fetish like this 99th time you advice me to play that game, well idk im not fan of exploring then doing wired 1-3 attack by selecting them in the menu and then wait the enemy turn, seems boring af like at least maybe more than "normal attack" "spicial attack"

what about ps1 games was having like 20 verticals per object does this include the traditional of Monster games? the texture where stretched from 10*10 px the shadow was fake.
why theses "true sprit of traditional" aren't on this game?

It looks better. The lightning, the shading, etc. But at what cost? half your fps I'm afraid :/
