Why bother?
The game doesn't look much better than World, judging by the screenshots, and by all accounts it runs terribly. Why? What's the point in making a game "look better" if it ruins the performance? It's not just this game, pretty much every game coming out does this.

My thoughts precisely, man. I've been a huuuge Monster Hunter fan since hopping on-board playing casually since Freedom Unite but actually going hardcore during MH4U. Bigger is not always better. When will company's learn that gameplay matter significantly more then graphics? If it didn't, games like WebFishing wouldn't be popular.

I'm going (along with possibly many others) to have to set this dope entry aside because an entire system upgrade from where I'm at is unfeasible for one singular game at this time. How unreal

this game will be only playable on USA or jpn because of theses and couse more lower playerbase lmao, even if you have the good pc other won't all them have latest pc, like the whole series isn't papoler and gatcha games exited.

Pathetic spoiled children even cannot reveal how pathetic their PC specs really are. Hope that all major games releasing this year will kick those children out of their parents in order for them to start optimizing their reality check.

According to the benchmark, it outperformed. It looks amazing, and absolutely playable.

Spoiled kid with petato pc, you know what spoiled mean?

Maybe advice spoiled devs to do more work on optimization

>It looks amazing, and absolutely playable.

So amazing play with input lag and injected frames on fast combat game.
Next put input lag on car racing games?

I'm even surprised CS2 can still run in smooth FPS on my 2018 Laptop of all thing, and MH World at least without API 12 activated.

Yeah i think this is what most of the new community hasn't acknowledged. The sudden Jolt in hardware requirements from a game series that's been around for yeah 20 years.

People berating older MH fans have no idea we were playing our games on potato consoles/ Portables for a long ass time. I can reason with anyone who is not too pleased with Capcoms choice here.

Its very out of nowhere and unexpected for the older MH community. Games like Counterstrike, Warcraft. If it happened to any of these communities they would be pissed too and rightly so.

Doom The Dark Age releasing this year already criminalized vram less than 8gb and ray tracing is a must as well.

They are being forced to use the inhouse RE engine, and as DD2 already proved, this engine is terrible at open world games. It does great in RE games because they are in small enclosed places with limited NPCs and enemies. Put in a town with a ton of NPCs or an open world, and the engine falls flat on its face.

Not every good tool are made to finish every job. Its like relying a mop to paint the wall. You can do that, but expect it to be a mess writing on the wall.

Capcom just pressing the RE Engine to the unknown while pretending Dragon Dogma 2 issues never exist and just take notes from how well MHR perform on the said engine is my only conspiracy here. I know Dragon Dogma 2 and MH are directed by different team but what is the difference if both using a tool that isn't fit for the job? You got more work to be done instead.

Csgo wasn't optimized to open world like with danger zone mode and devs do a lot of work to happend while monster hunter devs do all lazy shortcut.

no they wouldn't, this is PC GAMING
upgrade your pc, just got my 9800x3d and ♥♥♥♥ runs like butter, or go back and buy a console

I had to go and pay 800 bucks for it just for this game since I was running a 10 year old pc

welcome to pc gaming. people who played oldschool mh knows nothing about pc because it was on the console all the way. I was playing it on the oldschool systems way back during mh2 myself and they kept jumping from sony to nintendo and then switch and so on and I had to buy all that crap just to play it, glad to see how good it looks today and the tech now.

The same engine as MHRise.

The question is both the quality and quantity rather than the engine.

It does perform well, only if the game has less quality and less volume like MHRise. You keep repeating the same poem that does not make your 4060 garbage looks any better than a complete joke.

Your system never gets any better than what it is. Frame gen 60fps 1080p, which is just as good as PS5 (or even less).

Engines upgrade as time goes on, DD2 ran perfectly fine for me in fact super smooth. It doesn't prove anything, they patched some of buggy situation later on.

Here csgo devs how work with game engine limitation
https://youtu.be/EYDaIKIoOkw

OG doom game was "single thread" you know how much good programers need to do to make the game feel smooth and render evrything and make charcters control smooth?

Now devs can't make simple optimiztion like render low quality model on high destence and relay on injected frames, talking about spoiled kid

MHRise hall of shame, MAX should ask your parents before commenting. Play pokemon, as it does meet your mental age.
