Ultrawide has GREY bars on the sides
Please fix this before release. I know that 3440x1440 isn't a perfect 21:9 ratio, but there don't need to be bars. If you must keep them in, make the bars BLACK. The grey is really distracting, especially on an OLED.

For reference, this is what it looks like in-game.[i.imgur.com] Ultrawide is supported, but not properly. 3440x1440 is technically 21.5:9 but it is set to exactly 21:9 leaving that extra 0.5 as grey bars. It wouldn't be so bad if they were solid black.

To see just how bad the grey looks next to the black, look at this.[i.imgur.com] It's super distracting. I don't expect them to actually fix the bars, but the bars need to be a solid black.

I don't have an oled so it looks black to me but i hear you it just has 2 slivers of black bar.
It's not even close to black. Check out the sides of this.[i.imgur.com] There's the black and then on the far edges two grey bars.

Capcom overlooked that ultra wide screens aren't EXACTLY 21:9 But a tiny bit wider lol
It's not the first time. And I could live with bars on the sides if they were actually black and not super distracting.
its only in cutscene on the gameplay part gray bar is gone

Never mind it was just on the wrong resolution on my rig
First world problems it doesn't have 16:10 support so I get grey bars on top and bottom for 2560x1600.

Same here and it's beyond stupid that Capcom does this when their other games do not have this issue. I swear does nobody in different departments look at each other's work anymore?

I could watch ultrawide nerds get screwed by gamedevs all day.

The thing is: ultra wide is way more real (its more how your eyes can see) than 16:1.

Good thing is: 90% of all of my games run fine in ultra wide.

Bad thing is: YOU have to play in 16:9. I couldnt play with that crap anymore, same like 60 FPS stutter Party :)

Same lol, I think most of the current gen gaming laptops use 16:10 now. If they don't wanna bother implementing proper support for the resolution they could at least make the bars solid black instead of the super-ugly and distracting grey bars they have currently.

First Beta had the exact same issue

I have the same problem. I paid for an ultrawide monitor and I wanna use the whole screen and not just 95%. I hope they fix this. Elden Ring was even worse, no support at all.

This is exactly the problem. If they won't fully support it, that's fine. But at least make the bars solid black. Right now it's super distracting.
