I tryed quite some settings recently...
3440*1440, Ultra Preset, RT High
Native: 19901 - 58 FPS (Nice Try xDDD)
FSR Quality: 24808 - 73 FPS
FSR Q + FG: 22268 - 130 FPS
Optimized...
2560*1080 Tweaked some setting down a notch from Ultra Preset, RT Low
FSR Nativ AA: 26191 - 77FPS
- Performance sligthly better and more consistant than FSR preset above and looking quite better overall
FSR Quality: 30259 - 89 FPS
- Performence quite good but for visuals it makes actually no sense to be honest ^^
For fun i was searching for a CPU Bottleneck using Intel PresentMon & Afterburner:
2560*1080 Lowest Settings, FSR Ultra Performence
FG: 32953 - 193 FPS
- Really light bottlenecking around 10% at the more intense scenarios [Grass/Village]
No FG: 34660 - 102 FPS
- Basically bottlenecking through the whole benchmark xD
Avg around 70% GPU usage sometimes downclocking and using only ~150-220 watts / 300 watts limit xD
So i guess aiming for something around 90-100 FPS without FG tweaking some hungry options could be a possible goal.
eh, either way. They have some tweaking to do with this game.. I can already tell. Typical any more
main-system without framegen and upscaling
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3425963073
secondary system using framegen and upscaling
the xeon e3 1230 v2 is basically an i7 3770 without igpu (using same socket and chipsets)
being sold for a price comparable to an i5 while being i7 class,(4c8t vs 4c4t) made the e3 123x models favorites among gamers looking for the best bang for the buck. until intel blocked usage of those cpus on "customer chipsets" with later cpu-/arichtecture generations
btw that secondary system runs mh world fhd 60fps on maxed settings without framegen and upscaling only disabling volumetrics
same with forza horizon 4 for example on maxed setting
and forza horizon h5 on medium settings
i suggest to take a look at videos of the fh4 demo
and
videos of fh4 running on such hardware in general to get an imperssions about optimisation,...
